I do not rate Prama a straight 5s because I do not want other people to know how good it is. We stayed in Prama for six nights from 24 to 30 October 2024. We chose Prama for, mainly, its location, price and nice pool. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the room was newly renovated and quite big. We booked the cheapest room but the view was still Okay. The layout is perfect, you walked down from your room, a short stroll to the pool and then you would reach the breach in no time. There were plenty of sun loungers so you did not have to fight for one. There were countless numbers of eateries and massage ladies outside. One hour massage only costed you HKD50, much much cheaper than other East Asian countries. The price of drink and food was also unbelievably low. On average it costed less than HKD200 for a quite decent dinner with meat, fish, prawn, veggie and drinks. It is not perfect, of course. There are places that still have room for improvement. An example is airconditioning and water pressure. But Prama offered to swap a room for us, which we politely declined as we found the situation bearable. Yes, Prama showed some sign of age. But you were having a vacation in a sub-tropical region. The vibe was exactly what we looked for. So no complaint at all. All in all, we were highly satisfied with Prama and will definitely come back.

Staff are very friendly and tentative, great customer service. Nice comfy bed and the buffet breakfast is just your normal run of the mill, it was fine but nothing outstanding, ordered room service and the food from the restaurant was quite good also. I just found the room and the outsides of the building to be a bit thread bare, a little worn. The fridge in the room worked really well but it was sorted of just plonked in the middle of the floor between the lounge and dining areas, air con kept the rooms cool but was noisy in the living area (maybe just a bearing in the motor). I did enjoy my stay, just a bit pricey for what it is and I would stay again but I would be looking for a better deal than the last one I got, paid over 1k for the week for one person.

Here for our honeymoon and was surprised to be given room upgrade to Rooftop suite! It was amazingly big and comfortable. The balcony was super huge and comes with a bathtub and a big space to chillax. Manage to catch sunrise in this suite as well. Service staff were very friendly. Just a little bit of hiccup with the Netflix access, it was handled by the technician , however later on it was not able to access again. So we gave up. Other than that, it was still an amazing first time Bali Experience for me.

Great Location and Atmosphere, but Needs Improvement I recently stayed at Prime plaza hotel, and while the location and overall vibe were great, there were some areas that fell short of expectations. The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It’s the perfect place to unwind if you’re looking for peace and quiet. However, the food was disappointing—lacking flavor and variety, which was a letdown during the stay. The swimming pool is quite small, and there aren’t many facilities or activities available, which might make it less appealing for those looking for more entertainment options. If you’re just after a nice location to relax, this hotel might work, but it could definitely improve in terms of food quality and amenities.

I got the perfect room for my 4 nights stay. It was super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Really like it. The location was near to all restaurants and some beach clubs around Seminyak. I will definitely come back. Thanks also to their Manager Argainne for taking care of me and made sure that I arrived safe and comfy in the hotel since I arrived at 2 am. She’s really helpful. Thanks a lot to all the friendly and attentive staff. Their service is superb. Keep it up guys . Solo traveler here from Philippines 🇵🇭.

Average room size but acceptable. It is an old hotel from outside but well decorated inside. Some facilities inside the room may not be perfect such as the shower with a low pressure. Internet WiFi needed to be registered through a website which makes it complicated, specially that I needed to connect my laptop and the IT came to fix it. Hotel is located in front of the sea but doesn’t have so much sea view rooms. Reception gave me the room at first floor which was not according to my booking, later I complained to change my room to the second floor. Cleaning staff are really nice and friendly, same for the entrance and security staff. Overall is more expensive than other hotels that I stayed but because of the location it may worth it.

The location is far from the main city and very deserted. 25 minutes to the airport, which is good. Very quiet area with nothing to buy e.g. supermarket in walking distance. It can be depressing at times due to the location being very dark and quiet. The villa required cosmetic upgrades in the pool and washroom. AC upstairs was a concern and despite asking for help, it wasn't as expected. The staff and security guards were very friendly and helpful. The staff are the reception were very courteous but couldn't provide an extra bedsheet, for which we had to ask for an additional bed for IDR 500k per night. This was surprising. The housekeeping service was good. The food choices were fine and the restaurant staff was helpful. Kids enjoyed the foam party at the pool. SPA was good. Hard to get a taxi/Grab at times but managed it. Scooty rental was only for 1 day and had nothing to be offered at an hourly rate. Dinner choices were ok. Electricity went out an hour before we checked out with no phone working.

Excellent service and meals - we spent a wonderful time in Bali! I enjoyed half of my meals at Kojin Japanese Restaurant, where the food was amazing for us. The massage service here was also worth experiencing. The breakfast with room service was another highlight of our stay. However, I would like to suggest adding more lighting around the hotel premises, especially near the steps near to the reception and area in front of the restaurants, as they can be difficult to notice during evenings or rainy weather, potentially creating safety issues. Additionally, it would be great if the restaurant could enforce a stricter no-smoking policy. Special thanks to AYU DIAH, who was an outstanding assistant during our stay. She was very friendly, helpful, responsive, and provided us with valuable information not only about the hotel but also about tour options in Bali. Overall, this was such a memorable experience that I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Very nice room with a private pool looking out at the forest. Dessert and welcome drink on arrival was very nice. Shuttle service to Ubud palace every hour til like 10PM. Worker at the lobby and the entire facility are friendly and always willing to help. It was definitely a very pleasant experience staying at this villa. There were two things that can improve on. The door can use a new lock. Even when we lock the door (from outside). The door can still be pushed open. And there are some mosquitos in the room and some ants and bugs crawling but mostly outside the room.

Good overall but our room in the 3rd floor had some background engine noise from the roof. Breakfast used to be better last year, the eggs were poorly cooked (either burned or too row). Super eady place to get to. Once arrived check-in was easy, and the room we stayed in (230) was nice. Walked in the bathroom on the left, right past that was the little open closet with a safe and great place to lay your belongings. The bed was a great big size and VERY comfy. There's a nice size TV with English movies, a water canister to fill with water from the hallway watercooler, to include cups. A few cons *The shower and toilet are side by side separated by a glass wall, which the bathroom and bedroom is a well so you can hear everything. * The shower water slashes out into the bathroom area bc there is no door *The outside noise can be hard from the rooms to includes the hallway noise.

My stay at Renaissance Uluwatu was overall very enjoyable, with several highlights that made it memorable. The Clay Craft restaurant was truly exceptional. I had the opportunity to participate in their fruit carving activity, and it was such a unique experience. Special thanks to the instructor, Farhan, who was not only professional and patient but also shared fascinating background stories about the hotel, adding a wonderful personal touch. The Navigator team was outstanding, always ready to offer helpful recommendations and assistance, and the Duty Manager was highly diligent and attentive, ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay. However, there were a couple of minor issues. My room’s telephone didn’t work for the first two days, and I noticed that the bed linen hadn’t been properly cleaned upon arrival. These details could use some improvement. Despite these small setbacks, my overall experience was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

I had a great stay and experience at the Holiday Inn Resort. I arrived exhausted, sore & with the “Bali Belly” from my busy week in Ubud. The lovely lady at the reception immediately picked up on my state upon arrival. I appreciated her inquiring about what was wrong and her sympathy. The hotel also offered me complimentary ginger, turmeric, honey & lemon tea several times for the issue with my stomach. I found a gecko in my room. They tried to get it out but failed. They instead upgraded my room and moved me to a gecko free room. I really appreciated that gesture. The spa was equally amazing. I was met with friendly smiling staff all day long around the hotel. Amazing Beaches | Things to do in Uluwatu

Uluwatu is all about the beach life. 🌴 When you come to Bali, you're probably dreaming of long days on perfect sands and diving into warm waters to swim, snorkel, or surf. And yeah, the beaches here definitely deliver. Don’t forget your swimsuit and sunblock!

The beaches also buzz with social vibes, making them great spots to mingle with other travelers and locals. 🕶️

One of the best parts about Uluwatu is the social scene. The local communities are super friendly, and you'll find expats from all over the world ready to chat. Whether you're relaxing at a resort, chilling at the beach, or grabbing coffee at a cute café ☕, you'll meet so many interesting people.

In Uluwatu, surfing is a big deal. The waves are great, often topped with white caps, and the water is warm almost year-round. Depending on where you are along the coast, you might catch different tides and waves, perfect for all kinds of water sports. 🏄‍♂️

  • Nyang-Nyang Beach stretches over a kilometer of white sand bordered by dramatic cliffs. It's a bit of a hike to get down there, which means fewer people and more chill vibes for your beach day. 🏖️ For white sand and stunning cliff backdrops, Uluwatu's beaches are the place to be. Nyang-Nyang Beach is best place to soak up the sun and catch some waves in Bali.
  • Suluban Beach is unique with its accessible caves and rugged cliffs. Perfect for exploring or just watching skilled surfers catch some serious waves. 🌊
  • Bingin Beach is a surfer’s haven with amazing views of the Indian Ocean. The waves here are strong, drawing surfers who are serious about their sport. The white sand against the rough cliffs makes it a dramatic spot to catch waves or just soak in the sun. 🌊
  • Padang Padang Beach is a bit smaller and charges an entry fee, but it’s totally worth it. It’s a top pick for those who really get to know Bali, with steep steps down to the beach that make for a fun little workout before you hit the water. 🏖️
  • Thomas Beach offers a more chilled vibe with its beautiful white sand. Tucked between Bingin and Padang Padang, it's a bit hidden but still attracts a crowd when the surf's up. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a relaxed beach day with just the right amount of buzz. 🌞

Each beach in Uluwatu brings its own flavor, whether you’re there to surf, chill, or just enjoy some of the best views Bali has to offer. 🌅
