I. Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque (commonly known as the Blue Mosque) A mosque with beautiful blue stained glass. The interior, bathed in a mesmerizing blue light, is captivating.♡ The grounds are spacious, and one facility staff member is assigned to every few visitors to provide guidance, a great feature! I even brought a carry-on suitcase and they looked after it for me.✨ II. Putra Mosque (commonly known as the Pink Mosque) A pink mosque made of natural granite. While it gets crowded at times, this mosque, floating on Putra Lake, looks stunning both inside and out.♡ Nearby, you'll also find the Prime Minister's Residence, which is a sight to behold, making you wonder if it's really a mosque. Be sure to check them out together.😊 Both are far from the center of Kuala Lumpur, but they're worth a visit! Stepping inside, the spacious and luxurious atmosphere continued. The high ceilings and classic interior made it feel more like a hotel lounge than a typical bakery. There was a wide variety of breads and cakes, but the croissants and pastries were especially popular. The croissants were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, a perfect classic, and the rich buttery flavor was satisfying. 🥐 The cakes were not overly sweet, but rather light, making them a perfect pairing with coffee. The dessert plating was meticulously done, making them visually appealing. The coffee was reasonably good, and the rich espresso flavor paired well with the bread. ☕️ They also have a brunch menu, so you can enjoy a light meal, but the prices were a bit higher than other local bakeries. However, considering the atmosphere and quality, it was understandable. While there were a lot of people, the spacious interior prevented it from feeling overcrowded. The staff were friendly, so overall, I had a comfortable stay. 👉 Overall: If you're looking for a cozy bakery cafe in Kuala Lumpur, this is a great place. #September Good Places 2025 This September flash Kuala Lumpur 4-day food tour at Chinatow ntz Factory Street even had an amazing meal of Spanish cuisine, actually accidentally passing by to see this restaurant packed and very atmospheric, so decided to book a place for dinner the next day! This restaurant focuses on Spanish Tapas, most of the seats are bar tables, facing the open kitchen area, in front of enough to watch the busy chefs 👨🏻🍳 very tacitly cook out a variety of delicacies 🥘, and immediately delivered to you, is quite a good dining experience. Tonight I ordered smoked Mediterranean sardines🐟, oily seaweed with egg yolk Iberian ham🍖, olive oil garlic chili shrimp🦐 and charcoal grilled lamb chops🐑. #September2025 Walking along Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, at the end of the street, a three-hallway, two-courtyard building imbued with the elegant charm of Lingnan (Southern China) catches your eye. This is the Chen Clan Academy, designed and built in the 19th century by overseas Chinese surnamed Chen. Modeled after the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall in Guangzhou, it serves as the Chen clan's spiritual ancestral hall in Malaysia and is the only Lingnan-style ancestral hall in the country. The entire academy is laid out in a symmetrical aesthetic, blending the delicate elegance of Shiwan ceramics, the ingenuity of wood carvings, and the vibrant coloring. Auspicious beasts stand proudly between beams and pillars, and auspicious patterns entwine the eaves. Rich yet subtle colors flow in the sunlight. The decorative elements on the roof ridge, especially the overhanging eaves, evoke the ancient charm of Chinese temples. Every detail reveals the ingenuity of the veteran craftsmen. Upon entering the academy, the statue of the Chen clan's ancestor stands solemnly in the rear hall. The exhibition halls on either side of the front hall resemble two thick historical books, one recounting the Chen family's origins, the other detailing the struggles and outstanding contributions of successive Chen clan members in Malaysia. The museum holds even more surprises: yellowed historical records and surviving artifacts silently tell the academy's century-long story.
