Spending time in Bali is always an unforgettable experience, and this time I chose to explore two stunning beaches: Pandawa Beach and Balangan Beach. Both have their own unique charm, yet equally soothing to the soul.

Pandawa Beach, with its grand entrance flanked by limestone cliffs and statues of the Pandawa Five, welcomed me with a unique exotic vibe. Its fine white sand, crystal-clear blue waters, and tranquil atmosphere are perfect for relaxing or trying activities like canoeing and snorkeling. I sat under an umbrella, enjoying fresh coconut water, feeling the cool beach breeze, and gazing at the serene horizon. I also tried kayaking around Pandawa Beach for 50k/hour. Here, time seemed to slow down—everything felt peaceful.

Next, I continued my journey to Balangan Beach, which is more secluded and feels like a hidden gem in southern Bali. From the cliff above, the view was breathtaking. The sea waves crashing against the rocks in a constant rhythm created a soothing natural sound. This beach is more popular among surfers due to its high and strong waves. Although I’m not a surfer, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the shore, letting the waves wash over my feet, while watching the sun slowly set on the horizon. The sunset at Balangan was one of the most magical I’ve ever seen—the sky transformed from orange to purple in an instant, creating a perfect natural painting.

Two beaches, two experiences, one conclusion: Bali is truly a paradise of tranquility and beauty. Every corner holds a story, and Pandawa and Balangan have given me memories that will last a lifetime.

Visiting Saraswati Temple in Ubud was a journey of discovery, unveiling Bali's rich cultural heritage and spiritual essence. The stunning architecture, intricate carvings, and majestic lotus pond created a serene atmosphere, inviting me to explore Balinese Hinduism. As I wandered through the temple, I marveled at the beautiful sculptures and felt a sense of reverence for the local culture and traditions. The temple's connection to the arts was palpable, reflecting the island's deep appreciation for creativity and spirituality. Saraswati Temple is a true gem of Ubud, offering a glimpse into Bali's rich cultural heritage.

Visiting Starbucks Reserve Dewata was a delightful experience that showcased Bali's coffee culture. The store's design reflected the island's natural beauty, and the expertly crafted coffee drinks highlighted local flavors. I enjoyed learning about the coffee-making process and appreciating the attention to detail. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, blending local charm with global expertise. The experience was a perfect fusion of culture and coffee, making it a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts.

With a name this profound, it's definitely not unnatural for one to have high expectations and have those expectations met. Deriving its name from a traditional Balinese concept of spiritual charisma and radiance, Tastes of Taksu is more than just a restaurant. Located at the end of Jl. Gotama walking street in Ubud, its sprawling premises blend into the adjacent tropical rainforest, where streams flow, trees grow and wildlife thrive.
Upon exploring, one might discover the entirety of this place beyond the restaurant, mainly the Taksu Spa and Wellness Center. A trip downstairs from the restaurant area would take you to the Taksu Day Spa, where there are many thematic rooms dedicated to physical and spiritual healing, surrounded by nature. The many statues of deities decorating the place give it a serene, calming and spiritual vibe, much like that of a temple. Here, you may take the time to relax and enjoy the sounds and views of nature, and forget about time. In this section, there is also the Taksu Lab, a facility where quality organic skin care, massage and therapeutic products are developed.
Upstairs near the restaurant's entrance, there are a few more rooms dedicated to healing, and the Taksu Medicinal Herb Garden, where there are lotus plants growing by the ponds and streams.
The menu at this restaurant offers Keto, Vegan and Vegetarian options, with most items made with fresh organic ingredients. An excellent combination of a restaurant, and a spa and wellness center, idyllically ensconced in nature, it is certainly not a surprise that Tastes of Taksu is known as the "garden oasis of Ubud".

I came to Amed just to snorkel, but due to the unexpected aftereffects of Gili's stomachache, my condition was bad, so snorkeling was only 10 minutes, but it was a very impactful encounter with the Amed sea.

After looking at the menu and thinking for a while, I asked what kind of fish the fish at Fish Satae was, and they answered that it was barracuda.

I wondered if I could eat such a cool barracuda while diving. I thought it was a fish that was not easy to eat, so I decided on Fish Satae.
I visited for lunch and dinner and was able to enjoy it leisurely. The Fish Satae (Barracuda) that I ordered was as good as a meal. That's why they say it's a good value restaurant! The taste and quantity were perfect to the point that I wanted to eat them.

It was also nice to watch them take my order and cook just for me.

I was so grateful for the warm home-cooked meal that I ate it until I was full.

If I were to describe Bali Amed Warung Corner in one word, it would be home-cooked food. Honest, warm, and delicious home-cooked food without any fancy techniques.

It feels like staying 1 night here is not enough because the hotel area is very spacious. The room is very comfortable and there is a balcony to sit back and relax enjoying nature.
The staff service is very friendly and you can get a welcome drink when you check in.

My friend and I tried hiking around the hotel and it felt very challenging to the edge of the river, just follow the path.
There are many places to take instagrammable photos around the hotel and restaurant. The swimming pool is especially beautiful, especially for taking photos and swimming while enjoying the sound of the river and the forest atmosphere.

In the afternoon we got Afternoon Tea while enjoying the afternoon in Ubud.
Anyway, I will come back here again, the hotel is really great.

Address: Mount Sari, Peliatan, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80571
