【Nusa Lembongan Review】

Living on the island is more calm, diving is cheap, but if you don't dive, it is best to say hello to them in advance, let the coach accompany you deliberately, or provide a swimming ring. The diving mirror is not a one-time one. Mind the last thing you prepare, wear a swimsuit, there is no time to wear it on the boat, and the bathroom is very small. Living on the island is very comfortable, you can travel by motorcycle, and you can walk 2 kilometers. It is very good to eat and you can eat at the beach! Like it here, will come! It is suitable for accommodation than Penida Island, and it should be more suitable for diving 🤿

Tanah Lot: Things to do in Bali

Tanah Lot: Things to do in Bali

Tanah Lot Temple, perched on a rocky islet just off the coast of Bali, stands as one of the island's most iconic landmarks. Constructed in the 16th century, this ancient temple was built to honor Baruna, the Hindu sea god, and continues to be a pivotal site for both pilgrimage and tourism. The temple’s unique offshore setting makes it an exceptional spot for photography, especially during sunset when its silhouette against the reddening sky creates a mesmerizing view.

The best time to visit Tanah Lot is at sunset when the temple transforms under the golden light of the setting sun, presenting a stunning visual that attracts photographers and visitors alike. During high tide, the temple becomes an isolated spectacle, as the path connecting it to the mainland submerges under the ocean, enhancing its mystical allure. This natural phenomenon, combined with the temple's cultural significance, makes Tanah Lot a must-visit for those seeking to experience Bali's spiritual heritage and natural beauty in one setting.

The temple is located on a huge rock on the seaside in Bali, Indonesia. At times of high tide, the rock is surrounded by seawater, and the entire temple is isolated from the land, standing alone in the sea; it is only connected to the land at low tide.

Kuta Beach: Things to do in Bali

Kuta Beach: Things to do in Bali

Kuta Beach, located in the heart of Bali’s vibrant coastal scene, is celebrated for its broad, sandy stretch and excellent surf conditions. This beach forms a crescent-shaped bay that is ideal for a variety of water activities. At both ends of the beach, the waters are gentle, making it a perfect spot for beginners or those who prefer to paddle rather than ride the waves. The middle section of Kuta Beach, however, has stronger surf, attracting seasoned surfers looking to challenge themselves against the rolling waves.

Aside from its water sports, Kuta Beach is surrounded by a lot of amenities and cultural experiences. Visitors can explore the numerous shops along the beachfront, selling traditional Balinese handicrafts, perfect for souvenirs or gifts. The area is also well-known for its luxury hotels, lively bars, and vibrant clubs, offering an exciting nightlife scene. Whether you're looking to relax under the sun, catch some waves, or enjoy the local culture and nightlife, Kuta Beach offers a dynamic and engaging environment.

【Kuta Beach Review】

We were surprised to find the beach area very clean, no flotsam from the ocean. Great boardwalk for easy access & walking. Warungs and stall holders to the rear, chairs, deck chairs and umbrellas to the front and also some encroachment from stall holders. The vibe from the streets and the art market has been transferred to the beach area. Worth the morning stroll and an evening visit to see spectacular sunsets. Jalan Pantai at the rear, clogged with vehicles & motor bikes, virtually a total disregard for pedestrians with vehicles parked haphazardly other than where the hotels employ security personnel.

Uluwatu Temple: Things to do in Bali

Uluwatu Temple: Things to do in Bali

Uluwatu Temple with it's location along the Uluwatu Cliffs is a great location from which to view the surrounding landscape and seaside. Known as the "Lover's Cliffs," the Uluwatu Cliffs are set beside a well-known surf spot. The small forested areas in front of the temple is home to hundreds of wild monkeys.

In the evening, you can watch traditional Kecak dance performances. With the ambiance of the Uluwatu Temple and surrounding cliffs, the performance provides a magical, almost otherworldly experience.

Beautiful views especially for sunset. But it’s very packed and you got to pay attention on the monkeys. They like to steal from the people 😅 but definitely worth the views and the vibe.

【Waterbom Bali Review】

What can I say, one of the best water parks I've been to. Firstly, it is easy to locate. It's within walking distance in the kuta area. I went on a Saturday, and there was no long queue. I cannot confirm if it is cheaper to purchase tickets online and in advance, but it was really affordable on-site. The place is really well kept and maintained. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to buy food and drinks. There is wifi everywhere!
