All the area around the temple is very nice and you can have a fantastic vier to the sunset. you also have to assist the dance of fire show on the end of the day.
Breathtaking views, curious monkeys, Balinese architecture and culture. I visited the temple on a whim after a spa session at The Istana but it definitely would be worth the trip down to Uluwatu to visit on its own as well. Be aware of branches hanging above your head if you’re relatively tall. Sneaky monkeys will hang out up there and may steal your hat or sunglasses off your head. Otherwise they’re very friendly though.
