Five Rooms Rome Guesthouse

We had one day in Rome at the end of our cruise. We were kindly allowed luggage storage and an early checkin so we hit the ground running. The location was perfect, so close to Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps etc. The room was spotlessly clean, with gorgeous high ceilings, comfy bed and great bathroom. Plenty of space for luggage and fast WiFi. Perfect stay! I notice some complaints about finding the guesthouse, but the instructions were thorough before we arrived and we found it with ease, as did our taxi and Uber. Bonus lift for luggage too. A hidden gem in the heart of Rome. Would stay again without hesitation!

The most important thing to know when booking here is that they have more than one location, and that is NOT clear! We arrived at the central Rome location after a long flight from the US, only to be informed that our booking was for their other location, a twenty minute cab ride outside Rome! Ugh. I booked this hotel from the airport in the US just minutes before flying out, and on their initial email confirmation, there was no mention of an address and no indication that we'd booked a different location. So, just a heads up! They fortunately had a room for us in the location we'd arrived at, but at a significant price increase. Honestly, had they just allowed us to stay in the open room at the price we paid for the other room or had it been more clearly my fault, I would have given them more stars. But, given the fact that it was nearly impossible to know I was booking a different location, I imagine this happens all the time. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of what feels like an office building--it is not your typical hotel setting. The elevator is TINY and old, just fyi! The lobby of the hotel feels like a cave with no windows. The room itself was fine; fairly clean except for the prior tenant's old band-aid left on the bathroom floor and a bit of mold at the base of the shower. The beds are VERY hard and the odor of their cleaning supplies used in the bathroom lingered all night. The best part about this hotel is the location, for sure. It is very close to the Monti area and a ten-minute walk to Trevi. The room we had (#1) was very quiet. It wasn't the worst experience, but for the $, I would not stay there again.

Very nice place to stay in Monti. Close to very good restaurants/bars. Very welcoming, it was a lovely room with jacuzzi 💕 Such lovely staff who prepares breakfast for you each morning. I would highly recommend here. The room was very quiet at night also which is a plus 🙌 Thank you so much!!

Perfecto, limpio, impecables, amables, cómodo, perfecto, céntrico, el desayuno completo y delicioso. Volveré seguro. El personal muy atento, amable y servicial tanto como discretos. Ha sido una estancia perfecta.

Personale gentilissimo ed accogliente. Trasmette una tranquillita assoluta! Il palazzo in cui risiedono le camere è storico e antico ma molto pulito e profumato. Una chicca! Per quanto riguarda la camera, abbiamo preso quella con la vasca idromassaggio. Non siamo riusciti ad accenderla ma per colpa nostra in quanto non abbiamo chiesto istruzioni, altrimenti la vasca è molto comoda e accessibile, posizionata sotto un tv a schermo curvo molto bello, ideale per rilassarsi mentre si è in vasca o prima di coricarsi. Letto molto comodo e caldo, bagno grande con doccia spaziosa e bella. Presente anche il bidet. La poszione dell’hotel è strategica, a piedi poi raggiungere il Colosseo, pizza di spagna e la Fontana di Trevi! Se dovessimo tornare a Roma, torneremo sicuramente in questa struttura!
