Pay homage to Phra Phuttha Nopphakun Patimakorn and Luang Pho Song Phi Nong

🏡Wat Noi Nopphakun, originally named Wat Noi, was built during the reign of King Rama V by one of his concubines. In 1940, the temple was renamed to Wat Noi Nopphakun. The important and interesting features within the temple are as follows: 🏠Ubosot (ordination hall) in Thai style, built in 1927, with two entrance doors. Between the doors stands the temple's main Buddha image named Phra Phuttha Nopphakun Patimakorn. The gable is carved with Thai patterns, and inside is the principal Buddha image in the Maravijaya posture, with mural paintings depicting the life of Buddha. 🧱Kampaeng Kaew (crystal wall) decorated with wrought iron designs of rose bouquets in vases, as roses were a favorite flower of King Rama V. 🏕Viharn Noi (small chapel) with a gable carved with the image of a three-headed elephant, a symbol of the Rattanakosin era.
