Worship the Buddha of Compassion at Wat Thong Sutharam

🏕 Wat Thong Sutharam, originally known as Wat Thong Klang Thung or Wat Thong, was built around 1772 during the Thonburi period. The name and history of the founder are unknown. It was later renamed Wat Thong Mahacharoen and then Wat Thong Sutharam in 1940. The important and interesting features within the temple include: 🏡 The ordination hall, presumed to have been built in the early Thonburi period, was originally constructed in a Chinese junk style.
