Pay homage to Luang Pho To at Wat Liap.

🏡Wat Liap Rat Bamrung was built around 1767 during the late Ayutthaya period. Originally named Wat Liap, it was later supported by some noble patrons and renamed Wat Liap Ratchasattharam. Over time, the structures deteriorated, and the villagers collectively restored the temple, giving it the name Wat Liap Rat Bamrung. The important and interesting features within the temple include: 🏠The ordination hall, with a four-gabled roof, surrounded by a glass wall and eight four-gabled boundary markers. Inside, there is a large principal Buddha image in the meditation posture and the five disciples of the Buddha. 🛕The mondop, housing Luang Pho To and Phra Sangkachai. 🏕The Thammoroso building, where the glass coffin containing the undecayed body of Luang Pho Sroi Thammoroso, a revered monk who passed away in 1999, is kept.
