Very warm welcome, the gentleman on the desk has great customer service.
Cosy double room was amazing.
Plenty of space.
Was a strong smell coming from the sink after everytime it was used.
Toilet seat was wonky and held on at top with 2 screws.
These were our only downfall
Renovation was not outdated / pretty new, it seems the renovation was just completed not long ago.
Check in is using self-service machine.
The double room was spacious.
Breakfast buffet was good; it'd be better to have tomatoes as a hot item.
The villas were clean with everything you needed. The location was great on top of a cliff with a walk down into Cromer. Not great with mobility issues but our 8 year old managed it with no problems. We tried the restaurant once and the food was good.
We tried the children's entertainment one night and he was great. Our daughter really enjoyed that and swimming in the pool every morning. Overall a great location to visit a beautiful part of our country.
I stayed here when I was on a business trip in Norwich. The environment is great. It's just a manor hotel. The facilities are too old. The floor is creaky. The facilities in the room are very old. The third and fourth tier hotels in China are better than this. If you are a pretentious person, forget it. The environment is still very good. The air is very fresh. The breakfast is also OK. Anyway, it's just an ordinary British meal.
Booked through an intermediary and then changed the booking which the hotel dealt with and our room was ready when I arrived. Breakfast I would rate as budget, pineapple and melon was hard. Staff very pleasant and buffet we had at the wedding in the hotel we were attending was tasty.
Best Western has a proud history of providing great service in fantastic hotels. And this fine accommodation has a proud history of giving warm welcomes and fond farewells...over three Centuries worth in fact! In the historic market town of Swaffham, Best Western George Hotel is an ideal base to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coast from, and puts guests right at the heart of Englands East. Sandringham is a delightful drive away, but if you want a right royal service back at the hotel, youre more than welcome to enjoy lunch or dinner in the superb Green Room restaurant... or if you prefer, take afternoon tea in the lounge. Saturdays are the highlight of the week for shoppers, with the hustle and bustle of a traditional local market directly opposite the 16th Century coaching inn-turned-hotel, giving you a true taste of English country life.
The hotel is in a good location and very safe, only a 6-minute walk from Norwich train station.
The owner and staff are very kind, friendly and helpful.
Although the hotel facilities are simple, hot water boilers and coffee are provided. If you need a hair dryer, you can ask the front desk attendant for one. There are ample charging plugs in the room, including USB sockets and TYPE C sockets, with advanced facilities. Bring your own toothbrush and slippers.
Everything in the hotel is very clean. The shower faucet in the bathroom is very powerful and the hot water is very comfortable, which made me relax during these few days of travel.
Thank you for making a good choice. This hotel is very good overall. I will definitely come back next time 😉
A good pool and gym. Restuarant closed on Monday and Tuesday, there are street food Van's outside which were nice. Room was adequate size. Little balcony. No lift for first floor. Location is a bit remote so no much to do on foot outside the hotel.
There was no one to let me in but they were very responsive via text message and, I have to say this, the room and bathroom in particular were just so comfortable. Please don't hesitate to book here! You won't find anywhere better for the price.
It's really level one invincible! Highly recommended! It's really a legacy. I'm at least better than the king of orange crystal

GGuest UserThe hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon.
The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.
AAngelita LoidaI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Imperial Hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. They truly made us feel like valued guests and their genuine hospitality was greatly appreciated.
Another great aspect of the Imperial Hotel is its convenient location. Being within walking distance of the beach is a huge plus for those who enjoy spending time by the ocean. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to easily access the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to travel far. The proximity to the beach adds an extra level of relaxation and enjoyment to the overall experience at the hotel.
Overall, my family and I had a fantastic experience . The combination of a delicious breakfast, excellent service, and clean accommodations made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.
AAkkarpanA Perfect Day at The Bedingfeld Arms!
What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting.
While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully.
Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. Thank you to everyone at The Bedingfeld Arms for making it so special—we can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserA very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it.
We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads.
We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef.
A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar!
All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted.
A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return!
Thank you Mike and team for your exceptional service. What a wonderful experience we had.

JJadeThe room and bathroom were clean and well kept. The decor is a bit dated but for the price it’s incredibly good value. Very near both the train station and football ground. The staff kindly allowed me a late check out and looked after my luggage when I went out for the day.
ZZara MonicaBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.
YYGuptaMy stay at the Holiday Inn is generally a pleasure, but my recent experience deviated from the norm, marking a mix of expectations and reality. Initially, I was assured by the service team over the phone that my premium king room would include a microwave oven, an amenity I looked forward to utilizing during my stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case upon arrival, leading to a slight inconvenience.
Furthermore, I encountered minor cleanliness issues, which, although not drastically affecting my overall comfort, did catch my attention.
Despite these setbacks, I must commend the hotel for its unbeatable location. Situated conveniently close to the railway station and the city center.
Additionally, the responsiveness and attentiveness of the service team were impressive.
GGuest UserThis hotel provides great value for money, especially due to the leisure facilities such as pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The room service is well priced and the service is prompt.
TTsz Him1 overnight stay - spacious room but small wardrobe. A rather cold day in December, no central heating and asked for an extra heater to keep warm. bathroom has low water pressure for proper showering also.
EErtiaohuleVery British country-style old house remodeled hotel, especially quiet at night. There is still a little distance from the city center, but free parking is available.
