The hotel and the pool area were incredible with everything you want for your iconic Santorini vacation. But the overall quality and service level was poor compared to the price you pay to stay there and this was mainly due to the top management. However, I have to mention that the staff were nice and professional.
So the main problem that we experience was due to lack of information regarding their check-out policy which made our trip less pleasant and could have been avoided. First, we were not informed that we could not use the hotel facilities after check-out at 11 am (this was not an issue on any other islands such as Mykonos) but understandable as there are limited sun beds. If only we had this information during check-in we would have planned our days differently. Second, the hotel does not store the guest luggage’s after check-out which was quite unbelievable and inconvenient as our flight departed during the evening. As a result we had to store our luggage’s at a random cafe for 20euros.
As for the breakfast it was mediocre and for some people would probably still be hungry after the meal as the portion was on the small size. The quality and quantity does not match the room price, for example I got served 2 grams of salmon and 1-2 day old bagel (dry af) however, their yoghurt and juice was decent.
