Apartamentos Ambassador

Such a beautiful tranquil home from home. Staff are lovely, grounds are gorgeously botanical, with birds tweeting and a stunning view of the mountains. A really relaxing place. Room is exactly like the pictures, modern and super clean and comfortable. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within 5/10 mins walk. And the historical old town is about 30 mins, but is quite hilly with plenty of steps. We love a walk so that really worked for us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic 10 days spent at these lovely apartments. Well appointed rooms, cleaned daily if required, all mod cons, and beach towels which is great if you are travelling light. Just 20 minute walk downhill to the municipal sea pool and town centre (albeit with a healthy uphill walk home to walk off the great food and vino). There also also several fine restaurants and two supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. A lovely quiet garden (with beautiful bird song all day ) and a fine small pool area. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We will definitely be back.

We spent almost two weeks in this place with our family. And I have to say that if I could give more than five stars, I would. The place is beautiful and very welcoming. I felt like I was visiting family. It is clean, tidy, and nice. The location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. So, everything is a plus. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We chose this hotel after reading the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and our stay lived up to the reviews. Our apartment was exceptionally clean and was cleaned every day. We were in room 117, so we had a ground floor apartment with views over the well kept gardens. There was a sun lounger, three chairs and a table plus an airer outside. Inside we had a TV in the lounge and in the bedroom, some German channels but also a couple of English. I took my iPad so we could watch Netflix using the hotel Wi-Fi. There was lots of storage space in the spacious bedroom (cupboards, drawers, hanging space). The bathroom was also large, with a walk in shower. The kitchen seemed ok, we only made a couple of simple meals but there was a good sized fridge and enough cutlery/crockery. The pool was a good size and the sauna was an added treat! There were plenty of sun loungers on the sun terrace with a view down to the sea and on a clear day you could see Teide. It's a 15-20 minute walk down to the town and a steepish walk back up but it's easier if you use the Agatha Christie steps. Lots of supermarkets around (two within a 5 minute walk from the hotel) and plenty of restaurants and bars close to the hotel (5 minute walk) as well as all the way into town. Being a little way out means it's quiet there but everything is within easy reach. We walked in and out of the town but I understand the taxis are cheap. We caught the bus to La Oratova and you could also catch a bus to Santa Cruz. The buses are cheap and clean. The staff are very friendly and approachable. If we return to Tenerife we will definitely return to this hotel.

We were in Tenerife for a family holiday in the Ambassador Apartments. We were wowed by how clean and contemporary our apartments were, complete with a balcony facing the sea. We also had access to a pool, which was well-maintained. This also applied to the outdoor areas of the hotel. The place was also quiet and family-friendly. There were good transport links in terms of taxis in the area. However in our experience, most necessities such as the supermarket, as well as the town centre and the beach were within walking distance. The staff are diligent, friendly and always helpful, cleaning our apartments while we were out for the day. Outside of that, they were always welcoming, greeting us when we walked by, as well as giving us advice on how to access local amenities. All in all, we had a fantastic experience, thanks to the staff and management of the Ambassador Apartments. If we ever come back to Tenerife, we will choose to stay here again.

We recently visited these apartments for a second time as we really enjoyed it here the first time we stayed. The gardens are beautiful and the apartments are in a lovely area. When we visited the first time we had a fantastic relaxed peaceful holiday but unfortunately this time there were more families with children. We were in an apartment between two families and for several days of the holiday it was very noisy including at 01:30hrs in the morning!! Whilst we appreciate the apartments are not adult only, it’s a shame such a lovely peaceful place can suddenly change! I think we will have to stick to adults only places in the future which is a shame as we love these apartments and thought we had found a great little place to return regularly. For anyone who does want to visit, the staff are friendly and helpful, the apartments are well equipped and close to amenities.
