Nepali Cottage Guest House

Very nice family owned Guesthouse! The owner is very friendly and helpful. :) The price is fair & the guesthouse is just a 10 minute walk away from the lake. We really liked Wendy's Juice Shop, which is just in front of the guesthouse and perfect for good coffee, a healthy and good breakfast and just to hang around. What every you need, you can ask the owner and he will probably arrange it for you. :)

I did not stay at here but a great shoutout to Hemant (Mgr). Great guy as in I was stranded for dinner after a mishap my friend had during a hike & was admitted to hospital nearby. Closing time but took the trouble to extend the dinner time and had a great chat which left me with a great hospitality experience on Nepal.

We stayed for 3 nights. It is a good place at affordable price range. The rooms are decent with attached bathroom with hot showers. They also have a cafe & juice shop with varieties of juice and breakfast options. They have a laundry service too. They also have various services for trekking, ticketing services from Pokhara to other tourist destinations. The hotel is centrally located, any places in lakeside is in nearby distance. The hotel team are friendly and helpful.

Nepali Cottage Guest House was the perfect place for our trip!  Hemant (the owner) was super helpful, kind and proactive in communication before we arrived. Very smooth and easy going approach!  He helped us to arrange and book the bus for us and a taxi ride. He solved our luggage storage as well while we were out of Pokhara.  The Guest House has a perfect location - very close to the lakeside area, to all the shops and restaurants, but ''hidden'' in the small street to have a buffer from the noise of the busy nightlife. Very close to the place is a  fruit shop and supermarket - which is good for prepping for your treks.  The rooms are clean, with an attached bathroom with a hot shower!  The beds are comfortable and clean. There was a possibility of having laundry service as well!   This place exceeded our expectations and we can highly recommend it!  Will happily visit again!  The Wedny's Juice shop - which is the restaurant attached to the Nepali Cottage House has a great variety of the food and drinks. They are making the best Milk Tea in the whole Nepal, hands down! 

The cottage is a really nice place to stay in pokhara. It has a great location, its close to the main street but is also quiet. The rooms are clean and there is a really nice hot shower. Really nice workers and the manager is really helpfull with the customer needs. The cottage is cosy and cheap. The coffee shop in front of the guest house is a great plus. They have the best sandwiches i tried in pokhara. I highly recommend:)

Sehr gute Lage in Pokhara. Super nette Familie. Gutes Frühstück mit viel verschiedenen Gerichten, Obst und Müslis. Gepäckaufbewahrung möglich. Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Es ist ruhig und entspannt. Gerne wieder.
