Hotel Riad Amlal

An excellent small hotel. Good breakfast (we didn't eat any other meals there) and friendly helpful staff. Great location 5 minutes from the main square, and 5 minutes from a Carrefour where you can buy anything you need (including beer, wine etc).

We stayed here for one night as part of our journey in Morocco. The hotel was nice and tidy, the rooms were spacious but a bit cold as it was the cold season. My friends enjoyed the food, for a vegetarian it was ok but not great. Here, as I saw in many other places in Morocco, there are no lifts but very steep chairs, so could be a bit challenging for physically impaired. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

I arrived in Morocco on Nov 26, 2022, and flew out 24 days later. I stayed in maybe 12 different hotels, and Hotel Riad Amlal was among the best values; when my travels had me back in Ouarzazate a week later I selected this hotel a second time! My top reason for recommending this hotel: its great location. It's next to the walking street, and just one block from the (sometimes noisy) main boulevard. Most of us are visiting Morocco in order to experience the culture; staying in a compound on the outside of town is missing the point of our visit! But it's also nice to not be listening to car horns late into the night. This hotel's location was perfect for me, and probably will be perfect for you. Other aspects I liked: the friendly staff, and the popular restaurant downstairs.

I love this hotel. I just had my second stay there. The location can’t be beat — right downtown, near the souk. Much better location than the zone where lots of other hotels are. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a friendly staff. It is non-pretentious, and is frequented by locals (unlike the many many tourist trap hotels in the area).

Le Riad est bien situé proche de tout. Nous avons resté deux jours et c’était magnifique, une équipe professionnelle et les repas servis le soir sont délicieux et copieux. La chambre spacieuse et propre avec tout le nécessaire. Le wifi fonctionne parfaitement dans la chambre

J'ai passé un excellent sejour à ouarzazate où j'ai résidé dans ce riad charmant. Je n'oublierai pas les personnes qui y travaillent elles sont vraiment gentilles et aimables. Je vous recommande vivement de gouter leurs differents plats qui sont vraiment delicieux
