Gorgeous, quirky place full of character - with a beautiful glasshouse restaurant (in which you can eat a delicious and huge complimentary breakfast even if you don't have dinner there) and a super comfy communal living room. A terrific bar with limited edition Bryggeri Svalbard beers open till 2am too. Rooms are spartan - but it's still one of the best value places in Longyearbyen. And fast WiFi!

The people is so amazing (Special thank you to Anastasia) and whole the team. The hotel still maintains Mary Ann's legacy intact. Clean, comfortable and the environment is perfect. The new trees outside are amazing.

Cosy a**osphere where you feel at home at once. Clean and basic rooms with shared toilet and bath. Good breakfast with a wide selection of food and a wonderful view to the 'Plateu Mountain' from the wintergarten. Quick serving for lunch and dinner and interesting and tasty choices like seal and reindeer. I hope to come back!

I have spent a week at Mary Ann's Polarrigg. The staff was wonderful. From reception to house keeping, cook to management, all were great. The breakfast is satisfying. The restaurant serves delicious meals. Hotel is close to center, 10 minutes by walking. They organize every polar activity, quickly from the reception. I do recommend this place to everyone who dreams to do a polar visit.

We spend 4 nights here and really loved it. It's a very cozy, clean and friendly place. The breakfast is great and I would always come back. We took the room with a shared bathroom and didn't regret. The bathroom is just across the hallway, super clean and very big and warm.

Stayed at their double room with private bathroom for 3 nights. Our room was spotlessly clean with good water pressure; not big but still comfortable with enough storage, then the hotel provides a luggage room where you can store your suitcases away. Breakfast was homey and delicious. We also had dinner here once and was able to experience some tasty Arctic specialities. The staff was professional and amicable. Since the hotel was transformed from miners’ barracks, the dining area, reception and living room area and bedrooms are designed to situate in different buildings but of maybe 10-15 steps away from each other, and we don’t feel inconvenienced at all. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a more unique experience instead of the standard brand new modern hotels.
