The room was clean and had a nice ocean view and small balcony. Helpful staff and good breakfast buffet. Not near the nigh market but there are restaurants around. Good experience.

Short stopover stay at Hualien for Taroko. Rooms are clean. A bit far away from the centre but there are few nice restaurants nearby. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment much.

It is a very good hotel for the price it charges. Only problem is the bed and too soft.

Good location

The hotel is located a little further from the city, the lobby is spacious, the counter staff are friendly, and the check-in procedure is fast and accurate. This time I chose the plan without breakfast. There was a discount if I chose to purchase breakfast on site, but I wanted to have breakfast nearby the next day. The room was upgraded upon check-in to a room with a city view. The room was large and very clean. There were two cans of drinks in the refrigerator and a kettle that could be filled with water from the water dispenser in the corridor. The bathroom has a large bathtub. It is very comfortable to take a bath when returning to the hotel at night after traveling. The water volume and temperature in the bathroom are stable, which is good. The bed felt a bit soft, but the pillows were quite comfortable. The only downside was that the sound insulation was not very good, and I could still hear some noise from the neighboring room.

What surprised me most about staying at Hualien Lakeshore Hotel this time was that the breakfast time was open all the way until noon, which is very considerate for travelers who like to sleep in late. The breakfast is rich in variety and quick to replenish. No matter what time you go downstairs, you can always eat hot dishes. Clean, tidy and comfortable Although it is not in the center of Hualien, there are car rental shops nearby and the hotel can also rent electric scooters. It is actually quite convenient to go anywhere and the location is quiet. The breakfast was served for a long time which was very appreciated

The overall environment is good and the service staff is very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside is that it is very troublesome to walk to the second parking lot with large and small bags. The others I think are pretty good
