Olympic Hotel

Lors de mon séjour à l'hôtel, j'ai trouvé l'établissement très pratique et bien situé, ce qui a facilité mes déplacements dans la ville. Les chambres étaient propres et bien entretenues, offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Globalement, j'ai été satisfait de mon expérience et je recommanderais cet hôtel pour son bon rapport qualité-prix.

깨끗하고 좋아요 항구에서는 도보 20분정도 호텔바로앞 택시정류장 근처에 버스정류장 크노소스까지 버스로 30분 근처 관광지 15분 이내에 큰마트, 쇼핑거리 5분 이내에 가능 밥집이나 카페가 많아요 호텔옆 카페도 테이크아웃가격은 괜찮아요 깔끔한 룸 컨디션 조식도 깔끔해요 리셉션도 도움을 많이 주려고 해서 좋아요

We had all family a comfortable stay with kind hostesses. The breakfast with high quality products for all tastes. And the surprise of us was the jazz bar 1866. We suggested for a nice visit on this city because you could approach the market on foot and do walks all day and night!

Hotel located in an excellent position, next to the bus stops for both the airport and Karteros Beach. In the immediate vicinity of the Venetian walls, the port (with the fortress), bars, restaurants and streets with small shops etc. I really want to say thank you to the reception staff in particular to the guy who helped us plan the excursions for the whole island (the excursions they have not excessive prices and in the tours you have enough time to wander independently in the various places) ask for the catalog at the reception. Sometimes you will heard noise from the street, but it depends on people outside, and some … hotel guests.

I booked this hotel through AGODA and when I got to the hotel I was told that there was no reservation under my name. I had a confirmation and even an email from the Hotel, so I could not understand. The lady at the reception found me a room but said that could not assure all the stay because they were full. I complained and the manager did all the efforts to understand and found out that AGODA and booking are making reservations with the rates of Olympic Hotel (at Moires a city out of Heraklion), where they were expecting me, and the address of Hotel Olympic. Although it was also not their fault, they were tireless to understand the problem and help me with the booking. I managed to stay there the entire time. They were alaways very nice, the room was perfectly ok and the breakfast also ok for the price. The localization is excellent. A very good choice!

The hotel is below average and obviously sells because of its central location in Heraklion. This is its only advantage. Otherwise : A lot of noise from early morning (big banging, etc.) - to the point where you can't rest. Small and uncomfortable rooms. (They don't even have hangers in the bathroom for towels!) The rooms show strong signs of abandonment. They need renovation. Very modest breakfast, with only the very basics. Everything served is without taste! Only low quality filter coffee is served - without taste. If one wants to get a decent coffee, they must order it from the cafe bar at the entrance and is charged. There is a scale for weighting luggage at the reception. Requires a fee of 1 Euro !!! The staff, although very polite, are not happy or cheerful with clients. To ξενοδοχείο είναι κάτω του μετρίου και προφανώς πουλάει λόγω της θέσης του που είναι σε κεντρικό σημείο του Ηρακλείου. Αυτό αποτελεί το μόνο του πλεονέκτημα. Κατα τα άλλα : Πολύ θόρυβος από τα ξημερώματα (κρούση μεγάλων κτλ) - σε σημείο να μη μπορεί να ξεκουραστεί κανείς. Μικρά και άβολα δωμάτια. (Δεν έχουν ούτε κρεμάστρες στο μπάνιο για τις πετσέτες !) Τα δωμάτια δείχνουν έντονα σημάδια εγκατάλειψης. Χρειάζονται ανακαίνιση. Πολύ λιτό πρωινό, με τα πολύ βασικά μόνο. Πολύ άνοστα όλα ! Καφές μόνο φίλτρου και χωρίς γεύση. Αν θέλει κανείς να πάρει έναν αξιοπρεπή καφέ, τον παραγγέλνει από το cafe bar της εισοδου και χρεώνεται. Υπάρχει χρέωση 1 Ευρώ για να ζυγίσει κάποιος τη βαλίτσα του !!! Το προσωπικό, αν και πολύ ευγενικό, δεν είναι καθόλου πρόσχαρο.
