I had the pleasure of staying at the RIU Hotel in Sri Lanka and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The staff, especially Vishmitha, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was always impeccably maintained and Vishmitha's artistic touch added a special touch to our experience. I would highly recommend staying at the RIU Hotel in Sri Lanka to anyone planning a visit to the country. Stayed in thus hotel early January 2024, great food at the buffet, every option you can think of, food is available every minute of the day with snack bars open, drinks are great. With the restaurant staff making the dinning experience a pleasure, taking drinks orders and clearing up with a smile. The most impressive thing is the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms, we had a room cleaning supervisor Duminda, He was always approachable making sure the room was spotless and if we needed anything that he could help with, tea coffee and mini bar top ups. Every day a different towel animal on the bed, it was a lovely touch! Honestly the cleanest hotel room wise and facilities we have ever stayed in! Highly recommended

RIU Sri Lanka provides all inclusive at a reasonable price compared to all other hotels in Sri Lanka. Food is delicious and it’s served as buffet, hotel is very clean and provides all the facilities expected in modern hotels. Hospitality of the staff is excellent as well. I am aware personally that front office training ushan was performs well in challenging situations. He also very pleasant, friendly and able to resolve problems. I highly recommend him for a similar position and wish him the best of luck in all future endeavors. Thank you riu team…Sri Lanka is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back!

We stayed in a family room family of 5. The hotel was excellent and the service was of great standard. Our room Was cleaned by Mayura and Kushal who kept our room clean and tidy every day with amazing towel decorations for my children. Lots of food options in the buffet restaurant. Staff are friendly. Only disappoin**ent was the beach it was too rough red flag to swim. Easy way to travel is by Uber very cheap. Safe to walk during the day but maybe not at night. We tried egg hoppers on the street and they were delicious.
