We booked a double room with ensuite for one night. It was comfortable and cosy. Basic room and amenities provided, but was sufficient for one night stay. The toilet had a musky smell every time we showered, but the smell goes off after a few hours. The hostel faced the lake, offered spectacular views of the mountain area. The 2 pools were filled with water from the natural hot spring. We soaked ourselves in the pool right after our hike to Mt Batur... super relaxing! Breakfast was basic, just white bread and tea/coffee. Food sold at the cafe was also basic.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place or village as there is basically nothing to do apart from Mt Batur.. Stay one night if absolutely necessary. Food was awful $4 for Indomi and $3.5 for burnt chips.. Bed bugs and rats everywhere. Book your guide for Mt Batur elsewhere as it’s a rip off 450k per person is way too much and you can get it for 350k and a much more sociable guide.. 1/10

Service was good (they arrange everything taxi, trekking ... at reasonable price, they are friendly and helpful, value for money was also good for the room (only small point more pressure on shower would be welcome). Location and view was really nice. There is swimming pool with hot water and view on the mountain it's perfect. We fid not try restaurant but we find nice place near by (800 m)

Had a great stay here when doing the Mt Batur trail run, v close to the start of the race. Booked a quad room which turned out to be a canvas tent. Mattress was comfy. Food good with awesome view and nice hot spring pools to chill in before/after the race. Would stay again for sure

Don’t bring big car in here because the street small and rocky road. Very cold and Hot pool makes it better. Simple breakfast and taste was ok. Bring your bottles, they have water dispensers and u can refill anytime. I stay at family camp and was good. Clean toilets. Helpful staff. Make sure you depart in morning/afternoon to go here because the street very dark

Parfaitement situé pour faire l'ascension du Batur. Très convivial, très confortable, calme, cadre "champêtre ", avec vue sur le lac - Personnel très sympathique, repas simples tout autant que raffinés. Piscine alimentée avec l'eau chaude du volcan
