The room is quite big, divided into a sleeping area (Western style) and a leisure area (Japanese style), very cost-effective, it was dinner time when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel has wagyu bento to choose from (there is also a restaurant), very good, the room faces the sea, you can enjoy the sea view in the morning, there is a hotel shuttle bus to the JR station

JR Numazu Station is a 3-minute walk away. There is a pizza shop and Lawson downstairs, and a McDonald's opposite. From the south exit, you can take a bus to Numazu Port for seafood. The location is very convenient for travel. The surrounding environment is very peaceful and we spent a comfortable night here. The hotel facilities are very new. There are massage chairs, bathtubs, ironing boards and plenty of space in the room. The supplies are also very high-end, including Sekkisei and DHC. recommend!

The view of Mt. Fuji from the large window on one side of the room is really great. From Mt. Fuji under the moonlight to Mt. Fuji in the bright sunlight... You can see Mt. Fuji indefinitely while lying on the bed. The staff is also friendly, and some of them speak Korean, so I was able to communicate comfortably. There is a little dust in places that are not easily visible, but the cleanliness and bedding were generally good. The view from the lobby and hot springs was also really good. I felt that many of the guests were Chinese.

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

The hotel is nice, all rooms have sea views, the facilities are a little old, but they are fine, the hygiene is also very good, the breakfast is satisfactory, basically everything is available, the private beach is very quiet, there is a shuttle bus to Hejin Station, Figure 6 is the timetable, the hot spring is not big, there are more people on weekends, it is far from a dedicated hot spring hotel

The hotel is not near amenities however it has an excellent view of Mount Fuji. The morning sun was already bright at 4:30 am, and Mount Fuji woke us up, with the magnificent appearance right from our room. The breakfast was top-notched, very appealing delicious, healthy and 5 stars. After breakfast I would recommend one goes to the reading room, it has a180 view of Mount Fuji, free drinks available. The onsen is abit small. The balcony could use a good scrub and new paint, it would be lovely to chill out at the balcony looking at Fuji. The bedroom somewhat outdated, but clean and comfy. If I come to Fuji prefecture again, I will surely come back for the breakfast =P

The hotel looks quite luxurious from the outside, and the interior is also decorated in an old-fashioned style. It is overall clean and tidy, and the breakfast is also good.

The Japanese-style sea view room I stayed in also had someone help me lay out the tatami mat during meal time. I have stayed in a similar room in Izu, so I suggest you book a twin room here. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Atami Station, and the breakfast and dinner are average.

Advantages: The price is cheaper than other old hotels on this coastline, the sunrise is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the beach is white, and the sand is very fine. There is a shrine next to it, and there is a seaside torii. Disadvantages: The place is remote and will waste time on public transportation, and public transportation here is also inconvenient. The hotel is very old and the rooms are very old. Choose the tatami room carefully because there are many insects. It is basically equivalent to no service, and you have to do everything yourself. Starting with a piece of paper, all the facilities of the hotel must be studied and explored by yourself. I met a Japanese guest with a serious skin disease (suspected to be plum) in the big bath. I was scared and dared not wash. I went back to the room and rubbed it twice. The staff saw it but did not stop the person from entering the bathhouse. Arranging a room next to the elevator on the lower floor can only be said to be the basic operation of daily life.

Although some people may feel that it’s a hassle to do online check-in without a ‘proper’ hotel front desk assistance, we didn’t have any issues. We could submit our personal details via our mobile phones anywhere anytime prior arriving. Then upon arriving, using the PIN sent to our emails, we could smoothly enter the entrance. At the lobby, there were tablets, for each guests to take their picture for verification to the information we had submitted beforehand. Then we were connected to a call centre which asked us some simple questions then it was done. We loved that there were free flow of hot & cold drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, free flow chocolates/sweets/japanese nuts available. We were a group of 7, so we used the common space for our meals. The rooms were huge for Japan standards with a small sink, dining table attached. Each booking came with a car park lot. The car park is just a 2-3 minutes drive away and we just parked accordingly to our room number. I cannot be more pleased with my stay here and will definitely recommend friends to stay here.

Service: From check-in to dining and check-out, everything went smoothly, full marks for service; when checking out, they also helped to call a taxi, and they also gave us an umbrella very enthusiastically because it was raining. Hygiene: Full marks for hygiene, it feels really clean, very suitable for people with mysophobia hahaha Nothing else to add, each room has an independent entrance to ensure privacy. The breakfast is not bad, but I may not be used to such a Japanese breakfast. In addition, you can only take a taxi to travel, which is a little bit unsatisfactory

Although I was a little concerned about the dirt at the edge of the shower room, the open-air bath was great and the rooftop pool was also very fun. Drinks were also available for purchase, so I was happy to play in the pool while drinking alcohol and then relax in the hot spring afterwards.

Their service is wonderful. We left a charger in our room and they quickly locate it and return it. I understand that they use a plastic bag to hold all customer property left in their room and labelled it with dates and room no. This shows how they care about their customers and address to things systemically with every single details. This is one of the many times I forgot things in hotel and public transport and can get things back every time. Speechless!

Hot spa and laundry is an add on plus with this reasonable price of the hotel. This is the hotel I stay every time when in Atami.

There is a fireworks festival during the summer vacation. The price-performance ratio is really average. The VIP viewing area on the top floor of the hotel is okay. The men's and women's hot springs are exchanged in turns every day. You can see different views. I am not used to the breakfast. It is very average.

There are not many people and it is comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are both good. Dinner costs 6,000 yen per person, but it is good value for money. I stayed in other hotels nearby, and the facilities were not as new, but it was half the price of other hotels, and the price/performance ratio was very good. The hot spring was very comfortable, and it seemed to be pumped directly from the bottom of the hotel. I soaked in it many times.

A short 5mins walk to quite a well stocked supermarket, dollar store (daiso) & McDonald’s for those who are looking for some fast food. Shuttle bus is provided but timings are fairly limited. But a 17min walk to the station isn’t that bad considering it’s a very quaint town. 2 On site public onsen also available for free. Lvl 5’s onsen is better than lvl 3 I think. Staff were also very welcoming and nice.

I really like Ginsui-so, especially the breakfast and dinner. I ate delicious food after hiking to Hosono Plateau. The room was close to the edge, but the sea view was still beautiful. I went to the hot spring alone at sunrise to see the orange and blue sky and sea. I didn't expect that the bathhouse was full of early risers. Everyone was polite and quiet. It was a wonderful experience. I went to the lounge bar in the evening to drink a glass of shochu and a glass of whiskey. I couldn't see the night sea clearly, but it was relaxing and leisurely.

Dachuan is a quiet place far from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is only for adults and is very quiet. The private bath in the room opens to the sea view. There are two large private baths on the underground first floor of the hotel, one for outdoor and one for outdoor. The outdoor scenery is also excellent. I can't imagine how beautiful the cherry blossoms in spring and the red leaves of osmanthus in autumn will be. I will come again next time. The portion of dinner is really too big. I am a big eater, but I feel so full after eating. The fresh fish is so delicious that I don't want to waste a bit...

But the large floor-to-ceiling window faces the sea, and you can watch the sunset and fireworks, which is a super plus! There are many large flying beetles on the beach, so it is recommended not to open the window. The hotel's set menu is very good, from breakfast to dinner, it is very rich. The scenery is very different when the weather is good or bad! The hotel has hot springs, both indoors and outdoors, and it is not far to walk to AEON Supermarket. Overall, it is highly recommended! Special praise for the Chinese waitress in the store, who is cute and capable! I will go again if I have the chance.

The hotel is generally a Japanese-style hot spring hotel. There are mountain spring hot springs in the rooms and an open-air hot spring on the top floor of the hotel. My favorite is the open-air hot spring by the sea outside the hotel. The environment is very good and hotel guests can go there for free. The hotel rooms are Japanese-style and face the sea as a whole. It is quite comfortable to take a walk in the sea breeze. The sea is also very blue. It is a very special stay experience

A little distance from Izu Atagawa Station, but walking to the hotel is still acceptable, all downhill; Check out and return to the station can make a free shuttle bus reservation at the front desk in advance, so you don't have to drag your suitcase to climb the slope.
