Here’s a concise review based on your experience: We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! We were delighted to receive a free upgrade, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The stay included both breakfast and supper, adding great value. The location was incredibly convenient—on New Year’s Eve, we enjoyed the drone show right at the hotel doorstep without having to deal with the crowds. The staff were exceptional, always helpful and ready to answer any queries we had. Overall, it was a memorable and wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel in great location with walking distance to Hongya Cave, Kuixing Tower and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Front desk and concierge staffs are friendly and helpful. Clean room and spacious. Thank you for the welcome gift. Only feedback is pillow too soft and flat. The chief at egg station was reluctant to make sunny side up when my husband requested on Day 1. We stayed 4 nights, the subsequent requests were served without any excuses.😄

I booked a one room apartment and it was the best apartment hotel I ever stayed. Room is clean, comfy and hotel service is very good. I enjoyed my 4 nights and wish I can stay in Chongqing longer. Breakfast is reasonable and nothing to complain with ample choice. Walking distance to shopping mall and jiefangbei and hongya dong. Will be back this hotel apartment if even coming back to chongqing

This was a surprising find! Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing wasn’t on my radar at first—it was booked by my supplier’s travel agent for the main group. For convenience, I decided to stay here before everyone else arrived, and I’m so glad I did! ✅ Huge Room – Spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day. ✅ Fantastic Location – Right in Chongqing’s CBD but slightly away from the busiest areas. Easy access to 解放碑 (Jiefangbei) and 十八梯 (Shibatiba) while still enjoying peace and quiet at night. ✅ Great Service – Friendly staff and smooth experience throughout my stay. ✅ Free Airport Shuttle – A huge bonus! The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG)—one less headache for travelers. But the real highlight? The breakfast buffet! 🍜🥢 Not only is there an incredible variety of choices, but they have a noodle station serving authentic Chongqing noodles—a perfect way to sample local flavors before venturing out into the city. And get this—the buffet runs from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM (not a typo! 1:30 PM!). No pressure to wake up early; you can take your time and even treat it as an early lunch before heading out to explore. Another bonus? 鲁祖庙 (Luzu Temple area) is right next door, a trendy spot filled with stylish cafés and restaurants—perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee. During my recent stay at Novotel Chongqing Airport, I had an outstanding experience. The front desk staff, Zhen, was extremely helpful and welcoming. She greeted me with a warm smile and efficiently handled my check-in process. What impressed me most was that she took the initiative to help me reserve an airport transfer, ensuring a smooth journey for my early morning flight. Her attention to detail and dedication to customer service made my stay stress-free. The hotel facilities were also top-notch, with clean and comfortable rooms. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Chongqing, especially because of the excellent service provided by Zhen and the rest of the staff.

Our experience with Westin hotel was beyond exceed expectations. After the booking i requested for birthday occassion preparation to be done and they didnt.impose any extra charge. The room is very spacious whereby our toddler enjoyed the space and view so so much The baggage arrangement was also tip top! Lastly the breakfast is full of choices. Our stay with Westin is.extrra comfortable, service is so so accomodating and we love every part at Westin! Please keep up with such standard and we will.return definitely!

Location is great! Next to busy jiefangbei yet not too jam to take a taxi. Love the toilet, it’s huge. However, could tell that the hotel is a little dated. Doesn’t really give a 5 stars feel as lobby isn’t grand and very small drop off/pick up.

Not a very happy experience since the booking indicate a upgrade but we still get assigned the same room type (without non transparent toilet door). And they forgot to give us our afternoon tea ticket :(. Nevertheless, the room is still pretty but not practical. Think for very long what group type is suitable for twin bed with transparent toilet door but failed...so think twice before booking especially for ladies. Other small things like shower and shampoo label not clear (the chinese word to indicate its type is not bigger than 1cm), they mix up push and pull label in bathroom and toilet, the big mirror is near the transparent toilet room and bathroom door etc...hmm heard this design is this hotel group signature. Guess need to extend booking precaution to this whole hotel group.

”I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Regent Hotel! The service was impeccable, and I especially loved the thoughtful features like the bubble bath available on request and the convenient daily laundry service. The in-house restaurants and bar, with their spectacular views, were perfect for unwinding and enjoying the best the hotel has to offer. Special mention to Jackson Li and Edward Xu for going above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. I can't wait to return!

The location is fine for what I wanted. It is close to dozens of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants on and around Ziwei street. However, I’m not sure I’d choose it again. It’s a bit old and tired now. The rooms were once apartments; there is a small kitchen unit (no longer equipped). The worst thing was the disgusting smell of stale cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room. Even after 48 hours of open windows, it made no difference. The shower suddenly went freezing cold for a second or two approximately every minute (both mornings) and the utterly bizarre hard and sharp plastic spikes on the shower mat did not exactly improve the mood! The city view room is not worth paying for. It is a city view, but no landmarks. The traffic is noisy all night (especially with windows open due to cigarette smells)! As an internationally branded hotel, they need to do better in terms of stamping out smoking. I think I could have done better for the money and will seek to do so the next time I’m in Chongqing.
