Swissotel Makkah is a luxury hotel that is often praised for its prime location, particularly its proximity to the Masjid al-Haram and the Holy Kaaba, making it a preferred choice for pilgrims visiting Mecca One of the biggest draws is its location within the Abraj Al Bait complex, with stunning views of the Haram. This proximity makes it very convenient for those coming for Umrah or Hajj. rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.

I have booked 2 rooms under my name but the reception and duty managers made my stay uncomfortable for 6 hours for their mistakes. I requested them one day before arrival to have both rooms connected or at least the same floor. But no one cares about it and they have given me 1 room in one tower and another room in another tower which totally disappointed me and i have to request many times to change my room in the same tower or the same floor. No body was there to listen it looks like I was in a third class hotel where guests who have paid too much money don't have any value. After requesting many times to the duty managers my room was changed.

We received a free upgrade from the kind hotel concierge lady upon checking in, we were so surprised and pleased by this upgrade. From city view to partial haram view, it was amazing masha Allah! The room was so big! The musollah was gorgeous despite the unexpected size, as I thought it would be bigger. I love the set up of the restaurant buffet, so during breakfast it feels cozy and homey but I wish there would be more variety of food like the other jabal omar hotels that we have stayed before. It could be due to their sustainability efforts so that could contribute to less food waste, I guess? As for the location wise, walking down was easy to the haram however going back by walking up the hill after completion of umrah was quite painful. We would appreciate if the hotel provide a thorough video explanation of the shuttle bus access during check ins. But other than that, we managed to figure out the shuttle bus service and indeed they are very fast *************! We were given late check out as requested ************* so we can maximise our prayers in the masjid as we have a late night flight. Do take note that uber taxis does not pick up from the hotel except for Careem. Hopefully they will open up a mall within the Address Hotel itself so that it will be easy to find lunch and dinner for our meals. We ordered dinner through room service for our first night and despite the food came an hour later, the portion size and the taste was so scrumptious and yummy! Definitely worth more to pay for the room service rather than paying for the meals at the buffet restaurant!

The hotel is a few minutes walk to Haram so it is so convenient to stay. We booked with breakfast for our parents, the selection of bread are enough for us. The paratta with dal is delicious. The staff is so helpful.

Generally an excellent hotel. Some staff members would still benefit from further customer service training however it’s absolutely vital that I mention and praise Mr Amro Bin Malih. An excellent Manager of the hotel who Swissotel should be proud to have. Great approach in dealing with people and a great person in general.

Everything was very good, classic room with bathtub. The only minus was on breakfast. The hotel has 2 restaurants, international buffet (69 SR) in 21st floor while far east buffet (55 SR) in 8th floor. Unfortunatel,y the menu varian in each restaurant was very low. With these price, the menu varian on breakfast must be added

Comfortable accommodation at an affordable price. A preferred hotel for performing Umrah, even though it’s a bit farther away, it provides a free shuttle service every 10 minutes to Masjid al-Haram. Suitable for young people looking to experience performing Umrah independently. A peaceful atmosphere with excellent service.

The hotel overall was nice but the service was slow starting from the front desk to the house keeping.

One of the really hotels in this particular area. Well maintained especially if you book rooms in the new building (Classic room). Breakfast was great and also all required amenities available. Will be back for the next trip as well.

A new hotel, everything is very good, with children, family travel, the environment is the most important, very comfortable. There is also an outdoor swimming pool on the rooftop, which is great and the children are very happy. Also provided drinks from the mini bar

The room is clean and the scenery is beautiful. The buffet restaurant and breakfast on the 11th floor are rich and varied, with unique flavors. The waiters there are really nice and the driver is also very enthusiastic

The hotel has a strong smell of dampness, which is very uncomfortable. The location is average. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the shopping mall. It is not very convenient to get in and out.

The service is very good. Fruits will be delivered every afternoon. They will ask if other services are needed. Breakfast is mainly Arabic cuisine with Western dishes. The fruits are fresh and diverse. Blueberries, mulberries, and strawberries are all available👍, which meets the daily vitamin intake👍There is also a small shop on the first floor of the hotel, selling agarwood and perfume style local characteristics. The quality is quite good and it is open until 12 o'clock in the evening. Saudi coffee and dates are available at the front desk and lobby all day. The seaside road is right outside the door. The experience is very good. I will stay here again next time I have a chance

The overall satisfaction is very good. It is a hotel with a high living experience nearby. The breakfast food is rich, with many local specialties, and there is a free gym. The front desk service is thoughtful and meticulous, which is suitable for business travel.
