Easy to get to and fro airport. Eficient check-in /out. Room is clean . In room WiFi works and TV is connected to YouTube. As expected amenities like toiletries, bedroom slippers, beverage and kettle aren't present in the room. However, there is hot water and microwave at dining area located on Level 1. Coop, Migros and eateries are within walking distance. Hotel is stone throw away fom Limmat River. Pathway along river great for avid runners, Reasonablely priced and a fuss free hotel for short business trip.

Check-in was S L O W despite being the only one in line smh. Fully paid for the hotel and receptionist lady sighed and said hotel wasn’t paid. Showed her my paid trip.com voucher and she scrambled to find it in the system. Strange lady indeed. Certainly live up to its B U D G E T name by having hotel guests boil their eggs in an ancient looking machine. I suspect this is to prevent hotel guests from consuming any of the hotel eggs. This only implies no scrambled eggs for hotel guests who are craving for it. Limited food selection for breakfast smh. WC light is sensor based. If you’re in it for your big business too long it’ll go dark smh. Something you might want to consider if you’re traveling with younger children or elderly. Separate shower area with see through glass door. Glass door appears tinted but because it is a B U D G E T hotel you can see the silhouette and parts of the body of the person showering smh. Something to consider if you’re traveling with friends. The 2 saving graces are the close proximity to Zurich airport and 2 train station stops away there’s decent halal restaurant and Elif Halal Market you can find there.

Perfectly located within easy reach of the train station , major tourist attractions of the city and a large supermarket . Upon arrival we were cordially greeted by a receptionist with an absolutely lovely sense of humor. The hotel is small but it has all the things you’d need for a short stay. Will book again if we ever travel to Zurich again!

Im really love this hotel..friendly staff..clean and modern room..n luckily they upgrade my room and i got room with balcony with nice view..there is coffee machine and tea corner..very comfortable..thank you for the great service..will recommend to my friends and family if they travel to switzerland..ang one more thing near to zurich main station..15 minutes to zurich airport by train or taxi..no need to rake taxi because train near to the hotel..just walkin distance..near to the shop for groceries…fantastic location..i give 5 star for cleanliness,location and staff.

Nice hotel just outside the main area of Zurich. Room was a bit expensive considering it was small and had a shared bathroom. Maybe it was just Zurich prices, or the fact that Taylor Swift was in town and lots of places week booked up. Good tram system meant it was still easy to get around. Room was a bit hot at night and there was construction going on literally outside my window in the morning with the builders blaring their music in my window.

There was no shelf in the shower room, so I felt it would be nice to have a place to put things like shampoo. The bed was spacious and there was storage, so it was good. Good location too

Located in city center. About 8min walk from Zurich HB to hotel, if you carry a lot heavy baggage, you can take tram from Zurich HB station to Central ( only 1 stop ) from there only 1-2 min walk to hotel, very convenient! Around the hotel there’s a lot shops and restaurants, only walking distance.

Easily accessible from Zurich airport. The location of the hotel is located near one of the main station Zurich Altstetten which can bring you around Switzerland. On top of that, it has tram and bus access nearby to Zurich old town as well. Hotel amenities are good and clean. It’s new as well. The breakfast are simple and nice too! The staffs are friendly and quite helpful when we ask for direction or tips. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for couple.

It is really convenient to learn for the first time in this self-check-in and check-out method. The room is completely standardized, clean and digital service is very good!

Yes, there is no hiding the fact that the Krone Pop-up has gone to great lengths to keep their prices as low as possible, but for the most part it is a well-run and comfortable base for short stays. The rooms and communal lounge are inviting, stylish and well-kept. The building is many centuries old, and traces its various incarnations are visible in these areas, giving it a quirky character. The views across the river to the old town are also beautiful. A hotel in this price category so close to HB is obviously a rarity, let alone one with nice perks like this. The WiFi was incredibly fast and stable. Late check-in worked perfectly. The hotel has a slick system for online check-in and the key dispenser at the entrance worked without a hitch. The Assistant Manager was really helpful and welcoming by e-mail in advance. To be fair, my stay was on a Sunday night, so the cleaning frequency may have been lower than usual, but the communal toilets and showers were not in great shape. They clearly are not designed for how intensely they are used, nor are they cleaned often enough for it. There's nothing worse in a communal shower than a moist shower curtain and no space to avoid it. Add to that the hair, sticky residue and grubby towel on the floor, and suddenly the room price doesn't seem like such a bargain. The solution is so simple: a pile of fresh floor towels and basket for used ones, plus some Mr. Clean for self-service cleaning during unmanned hours. The Soeder toiletries were lovely though! Arriving late on a hot day also proved to be unlucky, because I arrived to an overheated, stuffy room with no time to let it cool down before going to bed. The adjacent bar really is loud, but not much of a hindrance to sleep because it seems to close early (some time around midnight, on Sunday at least). The facing building across the narrow alley is very close and looks directly into the room, limiting the privacy and therefore how open you can leave the windows to let fresh air in. So, all-in-all the sleep quality was just too low. The heat, noise and lack of privacy made for a restless night. I just needed a place to spend 7 hours between my flight arriving late at night and then my train departing early the next morning, and the Krone Pop-up was the pragmatic choice for that. I wouldn't consider it for work trips - the sleep quality isn't good enough - but it could be a sociable, good-value base for leisure trips during the week.

Great location! The self check-in machine is easy to use. The train to the airport is right outside the door. There was construction going on outside when I arrived, but it was not noisy. I traveled alone and the room was adequate, but there was no table and it was a bit inconvenient to put all the luggage on the floor. Even a chair would be nice. The great thing is that there are free lockers that are large enough for suitcases.

All was super cool good attention at reception, beautiful view, clean and beautiful facilities ... Only there is no restaurant or bar as in the rest of these Hostels ... Otherwise all ok ...
