The hotel is in a good location, about 300 meters from Gaoshan Station, which is quite convenient. However, the uncle at the front desk had a bad attitude and asked to check out at 10 am. The luggage could only be stored until 1 pm.

It was my first time using the hotel, and it was very helpful as it had a wide range of amenities. I made a reservation based on the reviews here and enjoyed the large communal bath and ramen in the evening. The woman at the reception was very polite and made me feel comfortable! Also, the breakfast buffet was very delicious. I would like to use it again next time.

Place is exceptional. Cleanliness, showers, toilets all available and really great quality. Only down side was the distance if the weather was bad. I can't blame them as weather is uncontrollable, but it's pretty tough to be dragging heavy luggages over to and fro in the rain or snow. Else if it was slightly nearer to the food areas, it would have been spectacular, else it's perfect!

There is a mother-in-law at the B&B who understands simple English and is very kind. She also introduced some scenic spots. The B&B room is large and the environment is very clean and hygienic. But please note that you need to take stairs to get to the room on the second floor. The B&B has a bathhouse, which is subject to a pay-per-use fee. The location is moderate, opposite Kokubunji Temple. It takes about 6 minutes to walk from Takayama Station towards Kokubunji Temple. It is easy to find. From the B&B, you can walk to the Takayama Festival Hall, Kankawa Chaochi, Shimosan no Machi, etc., which is very convenient. There was an incident. I booked a room that included breakfast, but the B&B did not provide breakfast. After that, I returned to Hong Kong to handle the matter. After contacting Trip.com customer service, I was able to get the relevant funds back quickly.

When I came back to the hotel, the hotel had already put my luggage in the room. 9. The latest check-in at the hotel is 1700. Please inform the hotel if you are late. Because dinner time is 1800. If you arrive too late, there may be no one at the font desk. Basically there are no shortcomings. After going to Kamikochi, this is a good choice. I really didn’t feel that tired after soaking in the hot springs, and my feet didn’t hurt when I got up the next day.

A very nice place with a warm feeling, beginning with the kind staff. Gerard specially is a wonderful host. The kitchen is great, big and full equipped. I loved the small garden and the dinning or resting place full of board games. There is also a traditional Japanese stove to cook for rent. Location is good. If I need to name one disadvantage I could say that both the beds and floors are noisy while moving. I tried not to but every step or movement in the bed was heard. Of course, it’s an old house and makes sense but still is the only thing I could say, the rest perfect and 100% recommended. Even the other guests were all fun.

A family owned hotel with Japanese room and natural hot spring onsen near Shin-Hotaka Ropway. There are indoor bathrooms and open-air bathroom with natural hot spring water. Good environmental open-air hot spring bath, the rooms are little bit run down but comfortable. He took me to Ropway station after checked-out.

Excellent service and very nice and friendly staff that make you feel very welcome!! Definitely recommend and the location has a very peaceful atmosphere! Can’t forget the amazing food!
