Location is a little away from main town. For the money, its good value for a place to sleep n do basic cooking. The shower has hot water 👍. For cyclist, you are allowed to keep bicycle inside room once you have cleaned it (can ask for rag to clean your bicycle)🫡 Nearby eatery wise, theres 2 warung makan cook on order (not in the mall) with some walking. Ade kucing 😺

If you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away! The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area. The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer). For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang! Average hotel that fulfilled basic needs. Poor sound proofing. The room comes with balcony, facing busy street with eateries at downstairs. We could only get to rest after crowds off, like around 1-2am. Cleanliness passed, water pressure are good. Bed and pillows met my expectation. Convenient stores, cafe, food court around the corner. There are way better choices of hotel in Batam nowadays.

This hotel has 2 building, choose the taller side for newer rooms. Choose high floor as lower floors are KTV than SPA. Location is good food/market/Mall/ massage shop are all nearby. Room 802 needs maintaining . Blackout/ aircon no power/ door

Overall is 90% fine.Rooms are big and clean.Location is near by many amenities like Nagoya foodcourt. Staffs are helpful. Bad point is curtains,mattress, pillow,towels are old and dirty. Need to change it immediately. I hope, owner aware it and upgrade it. We would love to come again

I gave full 5/5 grades for Batam 1 Hotel. Located is good, there are food stall around the area and it takes 10 to 15 minutes walk to Nagoya Shopping Mall. I took Grab from Mall back to Hotel was only 12k (about S$1). The room was clean, bedsheets and pillow cases were smelt fresh. Many channels on TV. Counter staff were courteous, checkin checkout also fast. Breakfast was simple but not too bad indeed. Hotel guest gets 30% discount for the massage at level 3. I will book this hotel again the next time I visit Batam.

Staff is really friendly, good and really helpful. Guys, you really need new pillows and new shower heads. You need to find a way to introduce some sort of ventilation in the room. Overall, my stay was pleasant.

Its was really awesome,you guys a rock..but th only thing is bath room got so many flys maybe be you the drainage full of hair and not really clean properly that why attract the small2 fly,and during my visit the water heater not working,so shower under the cold rain shower 🥶room really comfy and spacious,love it🫶🏻

Very clean and cosy hotel in a quiet neighbourhood around Nagoya Hills. Street foods all around the place. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Comfortable room with good wifi connectivity. Last but not the least, a pocket friendly hotel.
