Hotel located conveniently 1 min walk from Shizuoka station. Room is much bigger than standard Japanese hotel so it's a great point. Lobby gives us a high class feel. However, one only down point is there are no laundry at the hotel so for people who stay long it might be a point to turn it down. Other than that, the rest are perfect.

Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from JR station (not connected to station) with many shops or restaurants nearby. Rooms were good size and there were amenities available in the lobby (such as face wash, cream) along with free coffee in the morning. However was a bit disappointed with the maintenance of the room as there were some wood peeling off near the bedside counter.

On the day we landed in Narita airport, all trains and busses heading to Fujinomiya were cancelled due to typhoon Shanshan. We tried reaching out the hotel via Trip.com telling them we had a problem traveling to the hotel. But the hotel couldn’t accommodate our request. We asked to keep our booking for later dates. Our request was rejected. Based on our research, we booked this hotel because it locates very near bus station for early morning Fuji climbing. Unfortunately we couldn’t provide a thorough review of this hotel.

The hotel is designed excellently and includes modern amenities which other hotels tend to overlook. The basic double bedroom is rather small yet includes details that make it convenient and practical. While other hotels tend to have few electric outlets, this hotel includes electric outlets and USB outlets throughout the room, the lounge-restaurant area, and the 1F lobby/cafe area. Free breakfast and free parking are included, as well as free beverages and curry rice through the afternoon till evening. Its modern, well designed and convenient. Well worth the money.

It is what you can expect from a Dormy Inn : lots of freebies, a comfortable room and a bathhouse area with the bonus point of having a good Mount Fuji view especially if you get the rooms facing the right side. The hotel's clearly geared for people who drive, there is two main carpark areas but it can get filled up quite quickly during peak holiday periods. The breakfast was sumptuous and excellent as expected from a Dormy Inn. There is a nice late night soba service and popsicles in the evening. Location wise, it is only a short drive away from the Gotemba Premium Outlets and some local sights. It is located next to Chichibunomiya Memorial Park with a former villa. The hotel is also pretty new.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Shizuoka Station There are taito, gigo, shops, and many restaurants nearby (especially at night, there are many Japanese people) The hotel environment is comfortable and the bathhouse is comfortable The most unforgettable surprise is that there is a very comfortable space where you can read comics. There are a lot of comics and there are many seats for half-lying, which is very comfortable. The most amazing thing is that there is a game console! Play Famicom and Super Nintendo games with a simulated game console! When I hold the NES game tape that I played as a child, I miss it very much!

Trip.com definitely hide some cost when they offered prices for accommodation. We choose trip.com as they were cheaper than Agoda. Then, We were asked to pay for our child for accommodation and meal even we booked with 3 family members. On the booking confirmation they mentioned we might be charged for a child. We knew the child's prices were not included, we didn't book through Trip.com. This hotel has full of character, but wasn't the best comfortable place to stay. The staff seemed nice but very hard to communicate without speaking Japanese. Also very stingy with towols, water in the room.

Hotel view was lit, especially when you can see Mt Fuji on a very good day. Location is very near to the Mishima station, the lobby is on the second floor of the building next to the Mishima station. You can get your Fuji express bus tickets just outside the station. Bus to the Gotemba outlet is also around the same area. Hotel cleanliness was good. However the reception was so so, as they did not provide further help when I seek for their assistance as I had left my backpack on the Shinkansen. The highest floor has an open bath for both women and male, requires a card to reach there. Hotel room provides the necessary towels in a basket for you to bring up and the toiletries are available as well. Would be a good view to see sunrise or sunset of Mt Fuji from the high level if there’s a chance. The room TV shows you the vacancy of the open bath and washing machine but it was not accurate for the open bath.

It’s a nice budget hotel near Shin-Fuji Station, and overall, it was a pleasant experience for me. The hotel is very close to the trains, yet surprisingly quiet. It’s small but very clean, with everything necessary provided in the room. Though the room isn’t spacious, it is cozy, and I enjoyed a nice view of Mount Fuji from my window, even if the grids on the window made it tricky to capture good photos. The breakfast is simple but adequate to start your day, and I noticed the menu changes daily (I stayed for two nights and had different options each morning). The staff, while not fluent in English, were incredibly kind and helpful. They really made my stay more comfortable. The hotel provides a few shuttle buses to the nearby train station, which was very convenient. They also offer free shuttles to Fujikawaguchiko, but only on national holidays and weekends, so I didn’t get the chance to try that. If you’re heading to the Shin-Fuji Station, there’s a tourist center with English-speaking staff who are very helpful. You can even rent bicycles there to explore the area and enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji. For the price, it’s a great option, especially if you’re on a budget and looking for a quiet, clean place to stay with some handy amenities.

The room was nice and big, the breakfast was good, there was a shuttle bus, but! It was not cleaned on the second day, and it didn't need to be cleaned. At least the toothbrush and towels should be changed, but it was good overall

It's very close to Shizuoka Station. It's a great hotel. I'll definitely go there again next time. There's a 7-11 nearby. Although the room is small, the TV is big. A 30+20-inch luggage can barely be opened. There's a large public bath that's very clean and great. There's one in the building next door. You can relax in the chiropractic hospital. There is an open space on the first floor for coffee and drinks. I am not sure if it is free (I don’t have time to enjoy it)

Excellent location within walking distance to the train station, shopping alleys, museum and the fisherman market which serves good value seafood. Hotel front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and a lady actually recommend a less expensive carpark next door (500 Yen 12 hours comparing to 1200 Yen Hotel parking). More like a business hotel which provides no other leisure facility. Room price is a bit less competitive relative to other hotels I stay in other locations during this trip.

The location is good. The station is just opposite. There are buses that go directly to Shizuoka Airport. It is also convenient for shopping and eating nearby. There is a convenience store downstairs and a microwave in the lobby. They can also help with luggage storage after check-out. I really recommend it

Environment: Within 10 minutes walk from Shizuoka Station, Google Maps will take a detour, just in front of the right side of ASSOCIA Hotel (you need to cross a road), and the airport bus is also 10 minutes away. Service: Very satisfied, went to store luggage in the morning, checked in at 16:00, the luggage was already in the room, the random room type should be for the disabled, very large. Facilities: The randomly assigned smoking room has no strange smell, 201, the disadvantage is that the toilet is really cold, and you have to run the water for a while before you dare to go in for a shower. Breakfast is perfect, starting at 6:30, and it is crowded at 6:40 because everyone goes to the bathhouse to take a bath early in the morning. There are unlimited drinks in the lobby, and lactic acid soda water is recommended. I will consider this hotel next time I go to Shizuoka, very satisfied.

It was nice because it was close to downtown Shizuoka, and it was cleaner and better equipped than I thought. It's a really good place to stay for a night, and there's also breakfast, so you can request it separately.

Everything was perfect. The room is spacious. We got even extra bed .  hotel manager they are good.  clean with mineral water from Fuji. Go The Room at the corner is not so quiet actually it was a sound from the road just a little bit.

Glad to stay here. Definitely recommend for those who are driving and planning to stay at Gotemba area. Hotel is relatively new, room was big, the double bed is bigger, not the semi-double beds in most Japan hotels so is comfortable for two. Was surprised by what we get....there is cold udon dinner! Ice cream, coffee and Fuji mineral water are available at the reception. Breakfast buffet spread had Japanese breakfast choices, bread, coffee, juice and cereal. Hot bath is small, is good enough for us to relax after a day of traveling. Service was superb! All of them are so welcoming. On a clear day, we can see Mount Fuji on 4th level. View is blocked by some cables though. Overall, a good stay as we get to enjoy the evening with dinner, Onsen, ice cream, and a good night rest.

I loved the hotel, services and amenities was wonderful, food is great, rooms clean and nice with beautiful view on Mt Fuji! Onsens was also an amazing experience, just the location for local transfer is a little far away.

Staff are very nice. It’s very quiet in the environment, very pleasant stay. Since we took bus at JR Gotemba, we called the hotel earlier for the pick up service. And unfortunately the bus was late, we could not meet the car anymore. We then asked the tourist information Ctr to call. ( tips to all tourists)

It was great! We had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, there was a midnight snack, and the breakfast was as luxurious as a New Year's Day meal. A very satisfying stay

There was very strong smell as soon as we walked into the room, like decayed wood. The toilet is so tiny that the nose practically touching the wall. We have to make up our own bed, that's very strange, even putting on the bedsheets. The meal there also no value for money. Breakfast is quite skimpy. The only good thing about the hotel is the view, where the outdoor onsen can see Mt Fuji

The hotel is really old, but the staff attitude and location are very good. Next to Gotemba station, convenient walking distance. There is a Bigday supermarket nearby. For dinner they fed me free udon with curry, I bought breakfast separately for 550 yen and had breakfast with a view of Fuji. Disappointments: very cold room, no hot water, they said that there were technical problems. The staff offered to check into a newer hotel with hot water for free, but I refused, because it was already evening and the journey was almost 1.5 km. In the city in the evenings there are almost no lights, it is a little scary to walk alone.

In order to go to Mount Fuji and Gotemba Ole, I originally set CLAD and later chose this Toyoko inn because the itinerary was delayed for a day. The location is absolutely perfect, just at the entrance of Gotemba Station, there is almost no need to walk more. It is very convenient to go back and forth to Ole, or to and from Kawaguchiko. Recommend this hotel with location, just opened, you can check in by yourself Super cost-effective.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and I got breakfast and a complimentary drink per day included. My room had a view on Mount Fuji which I climbed up during my stay! It’s only a 5 minute walk away from Gotemba station where the busses to Fuji depart. I will stay here again if I come back.

It was great. The staff were very kind. When I woke up in the morning, I could see Mt. Fuji clearly in front of the hotel. It was a great location.

Room is clean and comfortable. facilities are new,but parking space is not free and the access is limited to 10pm before only, and the room rare is quite whichq high similar to Tokyo, not sure if it was because of the fireworks. The firework is stunning btw!

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

I've rated them 3 and 4, but that doesn't mean they were bad. It's not ”cheap means bad,” and there were some parts that were cheap, but I'm always satisfied! Breakfast and dinner are included, plus all-you-can-drink alcohol. Table tennis and karaoke are free. There are also three baths. There are some parts that give a sense of age, but there were a variety of people there, from young couples to a family that seemed to be three generations, and friends on vacation. By the way, you can make reservations for table tennis and karaoke at the counter from 1:00 p.m. on the day of check-in.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Even though I was staying alone, I was given a very spacious and nice room. It was well-cleaned and very clean, which was great. The hot springs were also great and very refreshing. Many of the facilities, such as the elevators, were old, which actually added to the charm. I'm really glad I stayed at this inn.

The room is super big, Japanese style, 60 square meters, facing the hot bay. It is in the old building area. It is more than enough for my daughter and I. You can imagine the beauty of the fireworks festival. It is also because it is not the fireworks festival season that we can book a room facing this direction. The breakfast and dinner buffets are very rich, and there is a large bath facing the harbor for free. The night view of the harbor is very good.

Although some people may feel that it’s a hassle to do online check-in without a ‘proper’ hotel front desk assistance, we didn’t have any issues. We could submit our personal details via our mobile phones anywhere anytime prior arriving. Then upon arriving, using the PIN sent to our emails, we could smoothly enter the entrance. At the lobby, there were tablets, for each guests to take their picture for verification to the information we had submitted beforehand. Then we were connected to a call centre which asked us some simple questions then it was done. We loved that there were free flow of hot & cold drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, free flow chocolates/sweets/japanese nuts available. We were a group of 7, so we used the common space for our meals. The rooms were huge for Japan standards with a small sink, dining table attached. Each booking came with a car park lot. The car park is just a 2-3 minutes drive away and we just parked accordingly to our room number. I cannot be more pleased with my stay here and will definitely recommend friends to stay here.

The staff noticed our behavior and spoke to us before we arrived, so we were able to spend our time from check-in to check-out feeling fulfilled. The room was clean and had a nice ocean view, and all the drinks in the fridge were free, and the mandarin orange juice was delicious. The open-air bath was infinity, in a spectacular location, and the temperature was perfect. The freshly made omelettes at the breakfast buffet were soft and delicious. I would definitely like to return as a treat.

The bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. If you don’t have any requirements for breakfast, you can consider it.

Services are very good. Great location very near Atami Station with great sea wide. Unluckily while we were staying there was a new hotel construction nearby which made the view look less beautiful. The hotel is very old need some innovations which will make customers feel better especially the hot spring bathroom.
