Lugu Lake: Pearl of the Plateau, beautiful sunrise and sunset

Lugu Lake, located at the junction of China's Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, is one of the deepest alpine lakes in China, with an altitude of approximately 2,690 meters (8,825 feet). The lake is crystal clear and is known as the "Pearl of the Plateau". The lakeshore has beautiful scenery, surrounded by mountains and shaded by green trees. The lake water and the sky blend together, making the scenery picturesque. We took a 5-hour tour bus from Dali to Lugu Lake, and there was also a tour guide introducing us. The lake area is home to Mosuo and other ethnic minorities, and has a unique cultural customs that attract many tourists. In Lugu Lake, tourists can experience the scenery of the lake and mountains, take a boat trip on the lake, visit the quaint villages on the lakeside, and experience the leisurely and peaceful plateau life. In addition, the lake area has beautiful sunrise and sunset landscapes and rich natural ecological resources, making it a very attractive tourist destination.
