Museum of the History of Pharmacy in Lublin

Museum of the History of Pharmacy in Lublin - a museum located in Lublin. The facility is located in a historic pharmacy at ul. Grodzka 5a in Lublin's Old Town and is run by the company PZF "Cefarm - Lublin". The facility was established in 1975 as the Historical Hall of Pharmacy of the Lublin Region with its registered office at ul. Mieszko I. However, due to its location, it was not popular among visitors, so a decision was made to move the collection. In the years 1983–1988, the exhibition was located in the building at Bramowa street, and since 1988 its seat has been a pharmacy at Grodzka street. Currently, the museum occupies two rooms. In the first one, former pharmacy furniture is exhibited with a collection of historical pharmaceutical glass (bottles, jars) and pharmacy tools. On the other hand, in the second one (laboratory and warehouse) there is a collection of documents (prescriptions, labels) and a rich collection of scales. The museum is a year-round facility, open from Tuesday to Friday. Admission is free. #poland #museum
