Nice hotel, a little dated but everything was clean and tidy. No bar or restaurant facilities for the evening but we were going out for dinner and they did get us a bottle of wine from behind the bar. Only major issue was the mattress in the room, there was basically a hole on one side and both sides were so worn out it was funny. Had I paid more than £56 I’d have asked for a room move
Very clean hotel.Nice room it is very stylish with a great shower.Had a nice view of the park over the road.Road was not busy over night. the hotel room is soundproof, so you can't hear the road anyway. The only down side is parking is limited and we had to park in a car park 5 minutes away from the hotel wich cost me £21 for for 14 hours of parking Overall if I was visiting Leister again would definitely use.
Trip.com generated two bookings at once and had to pay double for one room without ever getting my money back. Shame on you Trip.com saying it’s my fault and basically lying and keeping my money
My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class.

Every year, except for the epidemic, there has been no change here, including old housing facilities. Although it was slightly renovated during the period, it is completely uncomparable to budget hotels. It can be regarded as a country hotel and the glass room is very beautiful.
Hotel was lovely. We stayed here and headed into Alton towers which was just an hour from hotel. Local village pubs in burbage were nice. Hotel was clean. Hotel bar was great and resturant was also very nice.
The other guests were a bit noisy
It would be an advantage to have usb ports
I didn't receive my room number or code, but luckily, a gentleman helped out who was there
Room is a bit shabby but so far not bad. Stuffs are helpful. The restaurant next door is great. A pleasant stay overall.

PPeter alan wilkinsonThe accommodation was clean, the usual kettle, coffee and Tea was provided. Water was provided via a carefree ( flip open bottle with a stopper ). Not sure the tap water in the room was safe but the water supplied was good which was handy as you could not fill the kettle from the wash basin , which was small in size.
My room had a walk in shower but it was in the shape of a quarter circle with the doors closing in the centre. If you were a large person getting in or out it was a squeeze. Towels, soap and shampoo provided but the satchels were difficult to open. Scissors or a sharp knife would be needed or very strong fingers lol. The bathroom was clean however there was an aroma maybe from the stench pipe but all in all it met my needs. Access was from a side door which you could unlock with the keys given to you when you book in at the bar. Be mindful all rooms are one floor up, the stairs are steep with one handrail so if you are disabled don't book here.
Zowie was the lady in charge, polite, helpful and freindly but sadly the opening times of the bar are limited. Open from 12 midday to 10pm Mon to Friday and longer on Saturday and Sunday. They obviously do a good Sunday lunch as I arrived Sunday and the place was heaving with customers. Never got a chance to sample their cuisine , breakfast was in a cafe about 2 minutes walk away. I was out early and back late hence I did not eat there.
Parking is free, but if you arrive Sunday the carpark will be full up with hungry customers.
There was a housekeeper who would tidy the room, change the towels but the bedlinen is not changed daily.
Overall the stay there was good however as there is no breakfast included it borders on being a little overpriced.

HHolywindI had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a spacious and beautifully decorated room.
The room itself was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft, and I slept like a baby every night. The bathroom was luxurious, with high-quality toiletries and a rainfall shower that was pure bliss.
The hotel facilities were equally impressive. I enjoyed the stunning rooftop pool, which offered breathtaking views of the city, and the fitness center was well-equipped and spotless. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals – I highly recommend the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh, tasty options.
What truly set this hotel apart was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always available to offer recommendations for local attractions, arrange transportation, or fulfill any special requests.
The location was ideal as well – conveniently situated near top attractions, shopping, and public transportation.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area. Five stars all the way!

JJudith carolineI was quite disappointed if I'm honest. The Hilton Group used to be quite prestigious hotels but they are not now, or this one wasn't, at all. I thought the rooms were tired and needed updating and modernising. Even the corridors and carpet needed updating. We had no hand-wash in the basin dispenser, the door was too wide for the small mere size of the bathroom and it needed updating, very badly. No mirror in the bedroom so impossible to see what my hair looked like when I dried it. No complimentary biscuits and no fridge. When I visited the steam room in the eve there were 2 children aged 6 and 8 in there, not what I expected who then went in the hot tub. Both are not for children. The swimming pool was noisy. When in hot tub, a member of the LW Health Club who told me his membership price, told me that the hotel has many immigrants staying there who are allowed to use the pool and facilities, omg, I was horrified. He said recently it is always noisy and rammed full, not good. I had thought it would have been alot better, very disappointed 😞.
GGuest UserReally good value hotel at East Midlands Airport.
I stayed here for one night due to its proximity to the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic, but this is a Holiday Inn Express, not a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a hairdryer, kettle, iron and a few other features in the room. Wifi was fast and stable which is a big plus. The food is the restaurant was fairly decent and it was certainly quite busy the evening I was there. Breakfast is included for all rooms and there were plenty of hot and cold options with juices and coffees etc. OK it won't win any Michelin stars, but I was happy for the price. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the terminal or there is a bus stop right outside which gets there in a few minutes.
GGuest UserHotel was lovely. We stayed here and headed into Alton towers which was just an hour from hotel. Local village pubs in burbage were nice. Hotel was clean. Hotel bar was great and resturant was also very nice.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas.
The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor.
I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out.
The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up.
The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing.
The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out.
The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs.
On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.
