"Overall, my stay was good. However, the Xiao Du device didn’t work throughout my visit, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there was one day when housekeeping forgot to make up my room. Despite these issues, the front desk staff provided good service and were always helpful and polite. The location is also quite close to Dai Temple, which makes sightseeing easier."

2. Plush and Tech-Savvy Room — The king bed was cloud-like—firm yet cozy. Blackout curtains, a slick Bluetooth speaker, and a well-stocked minibar made the stay extra comfortable. It’s clear they didn’t cut corners on in-room amenities.
3. Front-Desk service — Cici !
Shoutout to Cici at reception—what a gem! She was not only polite and efficient but went above and beyond to make sure my room preferences were met pronto. Now that’s what I call five-star service!
4. Anna’s Next-Level Attentiveness
Big thanks to Anna from housekeeping. She promptly brought up bottled water, and when she realized I needed a disposable tub bag for the bath, she dashed back to fetch one. Now that’s going the extra mile!
⚠️ THE OOPS MOMENT:
· Bathroom Blunder
Alright, here’s the not-so-great part: the bathtub had a looong strand of hair (clearly from the previous guest). Yeah, not the end of the world, but for a hotel of this caliber? That’s a basic miss.
🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
Stunning room, killer views, and staff like Cici and Anna who truly get hospitality right. But Marriott—y’all gotta tighten up the cleaning checks. If you do, this place would be nothing short of perfection.
Still, would I recommend it? For that epic ocean view and standout service? Absolutely. Just maybe give the tub a quick rinse first."

AArnont BoosarawongseWe had such a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely perfect—having the May 4th Square Metro station right outside the front door made getting around so easy. It’s also great value for the price. Everyone on the staff was so kind, but a special shoutout goes to the housekeeping team. They were so attentive and even left us a sweet little note in our room, which was such a lovely touch! We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Qingdao.

TTamu房間設施 : 雖然開業已久，但保養還不錯。浴室玻璃房居然沒看到水漬，膠條也沒發黴，倒是出乎意料。有個桌子特別好，吃飯娛樂很方便。酒店有配備洗手液，經過疫情事件，大家都習慣了回家洗手，有個洗手液真是貼心，酒店想的很周到。
早餐：出乎意料，不愧是老牌五星，早餐是按照正兒八經的五星標準出，手工鮁魚水餃超美味！
wifi：網絡很順暢，不卡頓。
床：床品舒服，床墊睡着很舒適。
位置: 地理位置優越，離金海灣棧橋很近。
停車：免費停車，停車位足夠。
服務：辦理入住流程順暢，服務耐心貼心，細節做的很到位，是一次很安心的入住，推薦大家選擇。因為此次是家庭旅遊，我們到房間的時候，服務人員已經在門口等候，給我們送來了第三份洗漱用品和拖鞋了。給一個大大的贊！

PPengguna AnonimRoom is relatively big. Got the city view twin bed room. The bed is bigger than a single bed, probably twin sized bed. The room is in the old wing but at least it doesnt feel old and surprisingly quite a pleasant stay. Valley wing is the newer side. This hotel seems to be a popular conference hotel. In my 4-5 days staying there, there was always a conference held in the hotel. The hotel has larger taxis which can take 5-6pax. The taxi goes by meter so was reasonable. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to MixC shopping mall. There are many restaurants in the shopping mall where we had dinner. There were also many bakeries and a supermarket in the mall. There is also the usual mc donalds, starbucks and luckin coffee. There was also a new songmont shop that recently opened in the mall. For breakfast, there is a lane behind the hotel where we tried the dumplings and noodles for breakfast/brunch. Good price, around 100yuan for 5 pax. Cheap and good.

8852 Serendipitous LifeOverall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained.
To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language.
The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads.
There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you.
Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute
The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year.
For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

TTamuThe hotel is extremely luxurious and designed beautifully. But the service is TERRİBLE. No one speaks english… there is no food available for room service. İ wanted to drink a beer and they told me to go to the supermarket.
İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours.
The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30…
the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.
