⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at the Swann House in DC was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience was flawless, and the host, Christine, was unbelievably accommodating. If you’re debating whether to stay here, just do it—trust me. We typically stay at high-end properties like the Ritz and Four Seasons, and I can confidently say that the service and attention at Swann House were comparable, if not better. I’m not easily impressed, but Christine and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The accommodations were beautiful, the house itself is stunning, and the location is perfectly central to everything. 5 stars across the board! Thank you to Christine and her team for a memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I had another great stay at the Swann House, but this time it was just me. In town for the inauguration weekend and everything was perfect. wonderful breakfast, great service and very comfortable. such a nice alternative to a hotel. see you again in the spring!

So much right about Swann House and, as they say, no notes. Welcoming, perfect location (10 minutes walk from Dupont Circle and Metro stop there), quiet, easy on the eyes, gracious management/staff, comfortable, etc. Beds and linens extremely high quality. Outdoor pool is a nice touch for warmer months. Breakfast was fabulous. Perfect blend of visually interesting, comfortable, nice, professional and friendly. Second or third time staying there, and now it's my DC go-to. Avoids the risky vagaries of AirB'n'B bookings and stays; also avoids the institutional hum-drum of chains. Management truly cares about your comfort' Christine patiently, helpfully and knowledgeable answered all my (many) questions. I can be pretty picky, but Swann House met/exceeded all my needs, wants and expectations.

Excellent location, easy to walk from Dupont Metro, in a beautiful facility, with very luxurious rooms. The sitting area was magical. Topped with a great morning breakfast and the service was marvelous. If this is a bed and breakfast, then good by Hotels. I wish id known about this years ago!

Swann house and Christine were amazing. Location around Dupont Circle was perfect as it offered many restaurants. Ajun and Bar Charley around the corner were great. Breakfast for the 2 mornings we were there was extremely good. We stayed in Room 6 which had a king bed and the bathroom that was in the turret. In the morning when the sun hits the turret the room is amazing. Parking is at a premium. They have 4 spots. 2 smaller spots on each side of the driveway and then 2 spots on the driveway. I had bigger SUV which required one of the driveway spots. They accommodated with no issues. Just make sure you reserve the parking before you get there if you need it. There is also a small pool located in the back and assuming that is a nice feature to have on prem during the warmer times. Again, the area around Swann house is safe and beautiful.

We had a lovely 2 night stay over Christmas. Prior to our stay, Christine graciously and patiently answered my questions by phone about the room options and parking. It was wonderful to be able to park right in front of the Swann House. The location was excellent, within easy and safe walking distance of our destinations. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas with nice seating areas in the various common area rooms, also very clean and well organized. Christine was very attentive, seeing to our every need. She gave us helpful information about the area and we left feeling very happy we chose the Swann House. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

This is a well-located little b&b, and the prices are reasonable for Dupont area. I stayed in the small room and found the bed quite miserable -- it's foldable, with a large fixed overhang across the top, which means to lean against the bed, you are obliged to hunch over and keep your head low. This is not an acceptable bed for guests, whatever its utility is for the property. Breakfast was very average: supermarket toast, an odd baked cherry pastry, and cold boiled eggs from a previous day. The key plug near the desk did not work. Lots of nice atmospherics -- scented entryway, etc, -- but people traveling for work just need the basics to be quality and functional.

We had a wonderful stay at the Swann House. The staff was excellent, the rooms were charming, and the company at the breakfast table was always enjoyable. For many years we have stayed at B&Bs when we visit DC for work and sightseeing (at least twice a year) and the Swann House is one of the best we've found.

Swann's House is a nice quaint B&B. The staff Catlyn and Rico make you feel very welcome and all your accommodations are met. Rico was even nice enough to call.us on our cell.phones to insure we made it to our destination. I would give this place a 5 star. Pay for the parking, we were parked in the front and never had to move our car. Well worth it. Room 6 was very nice.
