On arrival we were met by Huw the owner, who carried our case up to our room (nice touch) The room was stylish and tasteful, very classy, king size bed with welsh tapestry blanket and cushions. The bedding was top quality, soft cloudlike pillows. Fridge with bottled water, fresh milk in a bottle, chocolate biscuits. A 'brita' filter kettle, and a coffee pod machine. Breakfast was the best we have ever experienced. The cold buffet had home made granola in individual kilner jars, all types of cereal, and fruit platters to die for, strawberries apple banana pineapple and blueberries, another with melon. we had the welsh breakfast, superbly cooked and presented, set us up for the whole day. The breakfast menu has a different 'special' every day, I had eggs benedict on day 2, (Huw is obviously an accomplished chef). Huw and his team work very hard to keep up his standards, the whole place was spotless. Ignore bad reviews, not deserved. We have worked in hospitality for 30 years, owned hotels in UK and France. In our experience some guests will go out of their way to give negative reviews. We will definitely return for another stay.
