This is a great small hotel. It is not a resort and a little funky but I would highly recommend. The rooms give you the feel that your in Costa Rica and not some resort that isolates you. The pool is small but great. The rooms were clean and we felt safe there. Its central to everything. We stayed here for 7 nights and the Diari on the beach for 5 nights. To be honest I wish we would have stayed here the whole time. Very very affordable. The only thing to make sure of is your check in. If its after 6pm you might have a problem so you might want to arrange staff meets you.

We have stayed at Hotel Flores years ago. While the property is in a good location the ants were a little annoying. They used to serve breakfast which was great, they no longer offer this service. The price is good, but you get what you pay for as the saying goes.

Very convenient to restaurants and stores.
Pool was lovely and the surrounding shrubbery
well taken care of. Room was adequate but needs
some updating. Bed was comfortable.
When I booked the room I was informed that
breakfast was included but that wasn't the case.
We had to pay but it was delicious anyway.

Simple clean room. The grounds are like a peaceful haven. There is a beautiful pool and foliage around. Chairs by the pool and outside the rooms allow you to enjoy the hotel. The hotel is just steps away from so many shops, supermarket and the beach.
