the room was clean and pretty when we moved in, but the window in the bathroom was broken (in two rooms we had), so the bugs could easily sneak in the room. they didn’t clean our room the next day though. the kitten is really cute 😻.

Perfect location close to beach number 4. Great place for surfers

It was a nice hotel. Its convenient to get to the beach and back and there’s a restaurant next door. You can store your own drinks downstairs in their fridge and the beds were nice and soft🙂.

The hotel rooms look really nice and new, but it’s really not in reality. The carpet was dirty, there was no tv, the bathroom was very old style too. (Luckily a western toilet ) Overall, not worth paying this much for a night. I expected more than this… Other than that, the hotel staff was kind and helpful, and the location to the surfing area was good. At night, there are lots of other hotels near by that does karaoke, so it can be noisy.

Great stay, basic hotel but has everything you need for a stay at the beach

Honestly such a cute little surfer hostel. If you into surfing this is the place you want to stay at. GWILD is next door - good food, good people and they sell surfboards there too. It’s in the perfect location in terms of proximity to the beach, other restaurants and hostels. Would highly recommend this place to stay at if you going for a weekend or a few days just to escape the city madness. I’ll definitel

Simple room with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and AC. I like the location near No. 4 beach. It also has a restaurant connected to the place that just downstairs around the corner that sells tasty sandwiches. I highly recommend the cod or tuna sandwich. Their Americanos were pretty nice too.

The backpackers is close to a nice beach, which makes it ideal. The rooms are ok, the bed is comfortable but the bathroom isn't the best, there isn't a seperate shower. I wouldn't go back to this place because they have solar heated panels and only have a certain time when the water was hot, but even during this time there wasn't hot water and when we wanted complain about it the owner wasn't there or any staff members to help us .

For a price of a “shanghai central hotel” the room was dirty and they didn’t clean till the forth day that we have to ask for. Since we asked them to clean please the room, they were upset. Only one cleaner in the hotel that we found out she was the mother of the manager. After that day, they mentioned on wechat that some beer were missing in the 1st floor fridge. And we came down to tell that we didn’t take them. One of the stuff, quite a tall local man (part time volunteer I think) got crazy aggressive to my friend who is a tinny girl and try to push her for fighting. We had to stop him peacefully, and he left running. They were not professionals at all in anything, but even though quite a terrible experience to be paying almost 700 rmb per night for a non cleaning room and after we complain in the 4th day, they reply with aggressiveness. We will never come back to that place for sure and I hope ctrip can remove that option from your app and website. There was only one girl who was part time volunteer that was nice and helpful with us about where to go and about taking to us. But the day of the fight she was afraid to be in our side because of her manager so she told us that on a wechat message. TERRIBLE AND EXPENSIVE (prepaid) experience

Great location! Didn’t get the room I booked for the first night due to water leak in the room. Hotel staff replaced my sea view room with a street view for one night. Minor inconvenience, but staff was helpful all the way.

Expensive for the services offered!
