Villa Rustica Dalmatia

This was a lovely place to stay (villa Sun) so very comfortable and staff were so extremely kind. The appar**ent was spotless as was the pool. Would highly recommend. Many Thanks to all at villa Rustica 😊 Anne

On arrival, we were shown around the facilities and to our apar**ent. Our fridge was stocked with a plate of local meats and cheeses, salad, melon and bread rolls. . There was a jug of cold water and white wine and we were offered fruit juice from the machine downstairs. We stayed in a two bedroom apar**ent on the first floor of the stone house. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and we had lots of room including a small balcony. There was an oven, hob and dishwasher if you needed them. They were cleaned every day. The swimming pool was small and quite cool, there were plenty of loungers and towels if needed. The jacuzzi was great and we used it most days. The breakfasts were plentiful and catered for everyone. There were fried eggs, omelette, sausages, fruit, yogurts, salads, meats, crepes, cakes etc. We were given a takeaway plate of cake and croissants every day. We were also cooked a traditional lunch of beef, gnocchi and stuffed peppers, and finished with a plate of fruit, absolutely delicious. The town is very small, the beach was good and safe for swimming, there are 3 restaurants and a couple of bars, 2 supermarkets, a bakery and a little gift place in a hut. The ferry to Trogir was about 15 mins walk away and cost 5€ each way, which can add up. If you like peace and quiet you'll love it. The best part of it all were the lovely staff, who always greeted you with a smile and a warm welcome, and really made you feel at home. We don't usually return to a hotel, but we would definitely come back here.

This hotel is an absolute delight. The staff are so kind and friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast is excellent and varied and we very much enjoyed being given a sweet treat to take away with us as well. We were also given lunch as a treat one day and it was delicious. Our room was very clean with a lovely bathroom and terrace. The village itself is small and laid back with some nice places to eat and drink. The beach is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel with a beautiful calm and clear sea to swim in. You can get a boat or a bus to Trogir and you can also book trips from the sea front. We had a wonderful relaxing stay with some excellent hospitality, can thoroughly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The friendliest staff who could not do enough for you. A wonderful buffet breakfast was served on the terrace with a bonus given to take away for later each day. A delicious Dalmatian meal was cooked for us before the end of our stay. An amazing place.

From reading the reviews, the standards for this place were high - and it did not disappoint. Every little detail made the perfect experience, the staff, although they didn't speak perfect English (so please have some patience and clarify anything) were so kind and helpful, the food was lovely. It perfectly embodied what seems to be at the heart of Croatia, Beauty, Purity, Quality. On our last evening they made us lunch as a thankyou (not included in the service), throughout our 5-day stay they kept our room immaculate (the whole hotel was spotless). Swimming facilities were excellent, we were expecting just one swimming pool but got access to an extra one with a jet feature, and a jacuzzi with bubbles + lights. The local village is incredibly worth the visit, even if you are spending your time in Split, Trogir, etc. A 15 min walk can get you on a ferry to Trogir, and a 5 minute walk takes you down to the shore where there are boat tours for sale, bars, restaurants, and of course excellent swimming/sunbathing spots. Absolutely worth every single penny and will come again.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fruit, cereal, cooked and continental. Extra cake was given for the room every day and lunch was offered on one day which was delicious local cuisine.

Hotel villa Rustica Dalmatia has Very high standards of cleanliness throughout the whole building , stairways,rooms, restaurant and outdoor areas. Beds were comfortable , pool always cleaned daily , outdoor area neat , spotless. Extensive choice of Breakfast every day, hot and cold high standard very good quality all fresh daily, wonderful staff very accommodating , pleasant and helpful. The whole areas is relaxing and very pretty, calm and tranquil. Short walk to beach area. Not far from Trogir, daily bus. We will definitely stay here again. 100% happy 😍

Our stay at Villa Rustica really was as good as all the earlier reviews say. The team were so hospitable, they looked after us so well by ensuring the hotel was clean and hygienic. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious every day and small details like clean pool towels being provided and cakes for lunch were very welcome! Ana cooked for us and the meal was divine- she ensured our dietary requirements were met and the food was some of the best we had here. The local area is beautiful and there’s plenty to see and do in Split and Trogir. 5 stars from us.

Superb location - near to the airport, but no noise from aircraft. Two minutes from the beach, restaurants and water taxi to Trogia. Room was ready when we arrived and staff very welcoming. Room was very clean and well equipped. We had a lovely balcony with views. Breakfast was superb and they always gave us a little snack to last the day. Pool and jacuzzi were lovely and never busy. Always got a bed and towels supplied daily.
