"Salzburg is a ok town. Until you show up to the Schloss. What do they have? Great pool. Grab a couple aperol spritzes and go for an underwater breathing competition. Great breakfast. Skip the serve it yourself buffet and Order an omelette and some crepes. Great town. Take the elevator and walk to La Stella. Order the bolognese, the feta cheese pizza, and the tiramisu. Drink wine and take the long way back. Draw a bath, walk around in the robe, and fall asleep reading. Salzburg is now your favorite town."

"The hotel is very near the train station; a short bus ride drops off at the stop that is a 2 minute distance from the hotel. Also very convenient to get to the town square and main shopping areas. We were welcomed with a huge smile and greeting by one of the male reception staff, name starts with M although I cannot recollect his full name. He checked us in and even gave a complimentary upgrade since it was my birthday. They also advised us on how we could get to Hallstatt and it was the best way to get there. Rooms were clean, big and the bathrooms had floor heating which made it cosy in the mornings. Wonderful service by him! Was asked if I wanted a cake for my birthday; expected a single slice but came back to an entire cake with a card and flowers. Made me so happy! It was a wonderful experience staying here and I would definitely recommend it for any traveler."

"This is a really lovely guesthouse. A very warm welcome, a lovely comfortable room with good shower room. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pretty gardens and outdoor pool. Unfortunately for us it rained very hard for our entire stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the balcony as we should have, but it would certainly have been a real bonus in normal weather. Delicious breakfast and well situated for the bus into Salzburg. A bar, but no evening dinner available. A couple of restaurants within walking distance…..we went to one recommended which was close by (5 minute walk), very good local food…….I can’t remember the name, you’d have to ask, but I do remember you need to pay cash (which was quite the norm at a lot of places in Salzburg, and in Berchtesgaden (where we visited next)). If we return to Salzburg, I would definitely stay here again."

I participated in guided morning yoga, meditation sessions, and wellness programs. These experiences felt authentic, not gimmicky, and left me feeling recharged and inspired. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully minimalist. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It truly felt like the hotel had thought of everything. Dining was another high point. The restaurant offered a wellness-focused menu with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I’m not vegan, but the plant-based options were so flavorful I didn’t miss meat at all. They even accommodated my gluten and lactose intolerance without issue. Lastly, the staff deserve a special mention. Every interaction - from the front desk to the wellness coacheswas warm, and respectful."

"This hotel is highly recommended! Those who drive should definitely not miss it, but those without a car shouldn't even consider it. It's located in the hills behind Salzburg, and in the evening, you can overlook the entire city. It's absolutely stunning. The hotel has its own Michelin-starred restaurant, which was closed on Sunday when we visited, but the breakfast was excellent. It's truly one of the two nicest breakfasts I've ever had (the top spot would probably go to Landhaus zu Appesch on Lake Wolfgang), but the value for money is still the best! The hotel also has an outdoor pool, and there's a flock of sheep and bees in the hills behind. I hooted at the sheep twice, and they roared at me, haha. You can lie on the grass in front of the hotel, read, drink beer, and bask in the sun. I wish there were more moments like this."

"Came to Salzburg with friends and immediately fell in love with this hotel, so we booked it. We were two adults and one child, so we opted for the deluxe large room and asked the hotel to add an extra bed. The room was beautiful, with four windows (including a large one in the bathroom) and a balcony. Below our floor was the swimming pool, where some people in bathrobes were watching the sunset. Just beyond that was Lake Fuschl, which was serene and lovely."

"Beautiful environment and exquisite breakfast. Dinner can be had at the Glass Garden in the hotel. The hotel is built on the top of a mountain, and the castle can be seen opposite.
