My wife and I stayed here for four nights over the early May bank holiday. The receptionist was excellent and the room clean and comfortable. The location is a 10 minutes walk to the quay and you are close to the bus routes. Our room was quiet and overlooked the car park and bay. The only downside was that the room was very warm and I would imagine this would be very hot in summer (no air conditioning). Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Definitely one of the better Travelodges we have stayed at.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 months due to work, the staff are always friendly and helpful, but Amy always goes above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble , she is always polite and makes your stay a pleasant one, she never changes her profession attitude even when people are complaining.

A bit confusing to find as you drive around Asda car park wondering where you went wrong plus reception is shared with a gym and accessed via a lift. However, the room was immaculate and reception staff were really efficient and super helpful on check in - especially Sylwie who helped sort out a company booking error with no drama.

The sleep itself wasn't a problem (although the bed did move rather more easily than it should have when I leant on it). The issues began on the first night. I was the lead booker for a party of 6, for 4 rooms, for 3 nights. Each room had a named occupant. When we arrived back at the hotel on the second night, the single female noted that her room had been emptied of all her belongings. We went to the reception, who claimed that she didn't have a booking on the system, they had been trying to contact her, but didn't have her details. The receptionist was the same lady who had checked us all in the previous day. When I asked why she hadn't contacted me, as lead booker, she explained that I wasn't the occupant of the room. All this time, our single female was asking where all her possessions (clothes, jewellery, everything) were. Eventually she was shown to a store room where all her belongings has been dumped on a trolley. We were then told that another room on our booking had also expired. The name on that booking didn't match the names of the person who was actually staying there, so again, we asked why we hadn't been contacted, and why was none of this picked up during the booking-in process the previous day. Again, this was the exact same receptionist who had booked us in. Eventually, once ID and booking emails/confirmations had been provided, our colleague was given her belongings and her room back. Not a single apology was given the whole time, we were just told they they were following procedure. Again, we had confirmed booking for 4 rooms for 3 nights. The following night, our single female found that her room keys were not working. We went to the reception with her, different receptionist this time, and after managing to prove that it was indeed her room, she was given replacement door cards. Not unusual. What was unusual, and completely out of order, was that the male receptionist, after midnight, knocked on her door asking for the old door cards back. A single male, after midnight, banging on the door of a single female. Again. No apologies issued.

Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Lovely staff with much better bar than most Travelodges. Not sure her name but female receptionist was lovely and friendly. My stay was made all the better by being able to enjoy a lovely view of Holes Bay!

Friendly staff good rooms. Good location. Easy walk to town, waterfront walks and grocery shops. Clean throughout. Free parking a bonus these days too and not struggled for a space. Good access from main road. Good coffee when costa is closed!

Very pleasant overnight stay, with a very nice meal. Benji made the whole check in process quick and easy, with the addition of him bringing up and iron and hear dryer to the room when requested. Couldn’t fault the staff in the bar as they were also very friendly.

It was very hot in the room and noisy from being so close to the main road. With constant traffic outside of the window the room definitely need an air conditioner. With the window shut the noise is bearable but the heat isn’t. Could not imagine staying here on hot summer day/ night. Apart from that, our family room was very spacious, comfy and clean, staff are very friendly as always!!!
