"We were a group of 14 staying in the hottest week in June on record 22 - 25 June. The rooms were clean with great air conditioning which was such a relief after a day out walking nature reserves as it was the perfect location for this. The rooms were very quiet and we had no problems getting to sleep. The food was good pub food and they were fantastic at sorting our choices each night.Breakfast had a good choice and had something for everyone . The staff were fantastic ,greeting us with a smile and working really hard in very hot conditions. I would stay her again and would recommend to others."

"We stayed at Travelodge Poole for two nights, and unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was far below an acceptable standard. The kettle was absolutely filthy and covered with dirt and heavy limescale. The bathroom was also very dirty, including the toilet, sink and bathtub, and there was a large amount of hair in the drains. There was visible dust around the room, and the shower curtain smelled extremely unpleasant. My wife had to ask the housekeeper for a replacement shower curtain and then change it herself. She left the dirty curtain on the bathroom floor with the used towels, but the housekeeper did not remove it, later explaining that she had not thought to do so. The room was extremely hot because there was no air conditioning, although we were aware of this before booking. A small desk fan was provided, but it was almost black with dust and was not powerful enough to make any difference. The pillows were extremely hard and felt like stones. I experienced neck pain during the stay and continued to feel it afterwards. The mattresses, however, were reasonably comfortable. There was also considerable noise outside because work was being carried out on the pavement, although I understand that this was not the hotel’s fault. Overall, the main issue was the extremely poor standard of cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom. The room should have been properly inspected and thoroughly cleaned before being given to guests."

"good location,rooms v. clean and warm ,quiet even next to the road on ground floor. based on free parking & room it is good value. Excellent service from HARVEY & so polite, he spent time with me when i had a problem with my laptop & wifi access. The really bad point is that we went in to have breakfast ,which looked good on the poster in reception, but what a sad selection of choice. We paid for 2 ( £19:98) & had a choice of 3 cardboard croissants,one pancake , mushrooms that tasted like they were a few days old, bacon too hard to chew, scrambled egg was ok. no fruit salad like on the poster just a limp banana and a few packs of cereal. It would have been better going to theToby pub 5 miutes walk away!! To top it all off the plates were cleared from the table before we had finished our drinks and toast & the buffet cleared away at 09 40, when the breakfast is served until 10:00. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE STAYED HERE BUT THE FIRST & LAST BREAKFAST WE WILL HAVE Catering needs to buck up"

"The staff here are so amazing and helpful. It’s was my daughters birthday and there was little gifts a hand written note and balloons. Such a small gesture goes a long way. My other daughter wanted me to mention the night staff as my daughter can outside with me in the early morning and she got cold and the night staff gave her a little hot chocolate packet to warm her up when she went back upstairs. The two employees that checked us in were so friendly and happy to help. And the breakfast staff was amazing. One lovely lady I didn’t catch the name off was so happy and bubbly. I can’t rate the staff here enough"
