Hotel Stefania became our 2nd Home - we spent a week this August and it was great! The hotel service was excellent - the Reception ladies are very kind and helpful. I need to say, I don't remember last time we had such delicious breakfasts - big variety of handmade cakes - salty and sweet too, the service stuff was also very helpful and very friendly. The dinners, what can say - Nino, the owner of the hotel, was taking care for each table as always, being very kind and willing to make true whatever wish the visitors have and making the guests of the hotel having a lovely and nice dinner. Nothing escapes from his eye - there was one evening we tried to skip the main menu ( the menu is so rich of choice, and the restaurant stuff keep on bringing food, is amazing, very delicious!), so Nino noticed that and gave order to the stuff to bring fruits. The stuff guys are funny and friendly, we know them since so many years :) so they started to smile delicately but with big respect as they started running to accomplish their boss's order. Not even 3 minutes passed and we got a plate almost big as the table, full with many many various fruits - a portion for week or even 2 weeks! That is how Nino treats the hotel visitors - they need to eat :) or even if they prefer to skip a part of the menu, no problem - they can refresh themselves with a portion of a nice cold fruit! It was just amazing! We felt so so special! Nino is not only the boss of the hotel, he is the heart of it - and he treats everyone with big respect - hotel visitors, hotel and restaurant employee too! We left with sad hearts and tears in the eyes - the vacation was over. But we will go again, to our 2nd home, where we found friends, excellent service and a beautiful beach to make memories again. Spent a memorable week here. Our stay was made pleasant by an attentive staff and owners who made us feel like family by making us feel at home. The beautiful ambience, delicious food, relaxing in the spacious garden and soaking in the sun at their private enclosure on the beach added to our wonderful experience. Will surely visit again.

I have been to Hotel Stefania for 5 days with my family and I felt like home from the Incredible location with beautiful beaches the food in the restaurant it was freshly made and cooked the service was very nice and welcoming I would definitely recommend to everyone:)

Lovely family hotel with beautiful deco. A boutique hotel style with unique art. The hotel is right on the beach with clear waters , soft sand and the hotel has it’s own beach chairs so we swam a lot , also a pool available which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast good, Lot of fruits and fresh stuff plus nice views. Clean and cozy over all . Having a car would have definitely been a plus. In short clean, quiet, great food, friendly staff. Thank guys!

I read reviews on this property before deciding to book it. One review I read however referred to the owner of the property. Unfortunately that same review was very accurate! Firstly though, the staff, the food, the decor, the accommodation were really good. The location was rustic and relaxing. The owner of the hotel was unfortunately not like the wonderful staff. We experienced him shouting at breakfast staff and doing so in front of many residents having breakfast. We also passed him in the lobby and the restaurant and he, as always appeared grumpy and did not even say hello on either occasion. One night in the restaurant a waiter was explaining the menu to us and the owner abruptly interrupted and his tone suggested he was not happy about something. No excuse me, no pardon for my interruption!! He also located himself, every night, across the pool watching staff, shouting instructions and quite frankly made the atmosphere very uncomfortable for residents. I spoke to other residents after three and four days and the opinions were the same. One morning after breakfast I went for a walk around the gardens and came back by the pool area. I witnessed this owner hosing the restaurant and lounge area and washing all the ‘dirty’ water into the pool. Unbelievably, using his bare feet, he rubbed what I can only imagine were stains on the ground and washed it into the pool. This was a major eye opening experience. After our second morning we had discussed having our wider family to the location for a family event next year but unfortunately this location will not be considered. We felt sorry for the wonderful staff, some of whom seem to walk on eggshells. Thank you staff.

A perfect getaway for the sea, the sun and the food. We had an amazing time there, the hospitality is top notch and the owners presence and caring attitude add a special touch to your holiday. For those without their own transport, there is a bus that takes you into the historic town of Olbia or you could go for a boat trip exploring other beautiful beaches.

Another wonderful week at the Steffania. Everything of the highest quality - the staff, the food and the hotel room and facilities. The private beach area, well monitored by Michaela, is perfect. Run, do not walk to book this hidden gem. First- I want to say that I have travelled extensively and have NEVER been made to feel more welcome anywhere than here. Every person we encountered was so genuinely kind, and went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Without being asked. The staff here are like hotel angels. They just know what makes a great holiday. I’m travelling with my daughter and we had a day and night unplanned before meeting my parents so I booked this hotel last minute. I had wanted a sea view room but the hotel was booked solid, so I made a request and by the time we arrived, a room had become available. It was absolutely beautiful. And the entire hotel is SPOTLESS. You could eat off of the terracotta floors. It has the feel of authentic Italy, and is just gorgeous. From the rooms to the view to the gardens. The hotel also has a private stretch of beach with chairs, umbrellas and a lifeguard. The water is swimmable and warm and the view of the sea and cliffs across the bay is breathtaking. Lovely and extensive breakfast overlooking the sea was also included with our room. GORGEOUS first experience in Sardinia! The owner is as beautiful and welcoming as the hotel itself. We didn’t realize she was the owner until someone told us afterward- but she specifically picked up gluten free muffins for my child with celiac disease, and allowed us to leave our luggage while we used the beach after checkout (we had arrived late the previous night due to a flight delay). I would consider coming back to Sardinia with my husband and both children just to stay here again. 11/10

We stayed in a very comfortable standard double room which overlooked the beautiful gardens on a bed & breakfast basis. The breakfast was great with lots of choice, particularly liked the fresh bread rolls, fruit & home made yogurt. Only ate one evening in the restaurant which was ok but the surroundings straight back (Greek type) dining chairs and the 7.30pm start time were not for us. We found several restaurants nearby where we could be served earlier. The staff are very friendly & helpful & seemed happy, in fact the whole place seems very well run. This is a very quiet and peaceful area, if you're not a beach person or sunbather there isn't really enough to do within walking distance, however the bus to Olbia is good for a change of scene and shops/ liveliness. Can highly recommend this hotel for a short break. Definitely beneficial if you can speak some Italian too.
