My family really enjoy the stay at Biwako Ryokusuitei hotel. The staff is very attentive to details and tried their best to accommodate to all out our requests. Thank you for making our family trip memorable.

The hospitality at the hotel was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The attention to detail in service, from the personalized welcome to the thoughtful amenities in our room, made our stay truly memorable. It’s clear that the team is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels valued and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a delightful and accommodating experience!

Good view of the river but public hot spring is a bit disappointing

Excellent facility with outstanding customer service. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We opted to try the shabu shabu dinner which was delicious. The included breakfast had a large variety of choices. Room was spacious and the private hot spring was amazing.

The service manner is excellent. Excellent lake view. Breakfast buffet offers grilled seafood exceeds my expectation. But there is no regular shuttle bus delivery between JR Station and hotel. Sometimes I prefer to visit other nearby attractions after checked in.

This is my second time at Biwako Ryokusuitei. My husband and I first stayed there in 2022 and we were so impressed with the service that we brought our family there again in 2024. We really enjoyed the convenience of bathing in the onsen in our room and the dinner and breakfast was as superb as we remembered it. Special mention goes to the kind driver who sent us to Sakamoto Cable Car when we checked out. He went out of his way to bring us to the train station to check whether there were any empty lockers available for our hand luggages and tried his best to communicate with us in English to recommend places to go and restaurants to try. His kindness and joviality stayed with us until we returned to Singapore and is something that we still talk about today. Thank you to everyone at the Ryokan for making it a memorable trip for my family and I!

Lovely view of Lake Biwa. Outdoor onsen and sauna are especially nice. The water makes your skin very smooth.

I couldn't speak Japanese but I could feel that they are treating every customer seriously. Their greetings and sincere services impressed me. There was a problem with my booking initially, not sure why because I didn't get proper explanation from the hotel and Trip.com, the hotel didn't mention anything however arranged some small surprise when they knew this is an anniversary trip. I tried to upgrade my meal with crab as my wife not quite like beef and fish, they said unavailable so I keep to the original. At the end I got crab, fish and beef that surprises me. I was later received a souvenir from the hotel when they served the dessert. The hotel is busy but I'm not seeing lots of people, may be all of them staying at their rooms. The experience for me was exceptional when I woke up at 6am witness the beautiful sunrise right outside the huge window, and saw an eagle passing by my camera when trying to capture that moment. Later on when I take the free shuttle bus ride to the nearby train station, I saw an eagle again came down and climbed up outside the station. Not sure it means anything, but definitely this is a very spiritual journey for me.

Staff are very friendly and Services are excellent. The hotel shuttle picked us up from train station after we used the toll free mobile phone at the station. The next day they arranged shuttle to send us to the cable car station. The only draw back is the dinner quality. Only moderate.

Love the hotel, and the outdoor view is absolutely breath taking. Dinner was so so. However breakfast was amazing 👍🏻👍🏻

The location is a bit far but convenient with the hotel bus..

Comfortable and clean, with excellent service from the staff. Very good value! We chose both dinner and breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. Truly impressed!

Location is good and the window view in the room is excellent. Dining experience is tasteful with many choices.
