Everything was fantastic, better than the pictures I saw. The food was good. Very clean. Nice location and nice beach. The only thing is that it’s a little bit more crowded than other resorts if u wanna socialize it’s the good one………………………..

What an amazing hotel!! Clean, beautiful and overall perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything more to be honest, service is impeccable, food selecting is really good, drink selection is huge and all very well priced. Rooms are lovely. Right on the beach with their own private sunbeds looking at the sunset. They offer so much advice on tours and excursions. A special mention to Ibrahim, who catered to us everyday, his smile is infectious and he is a super lovely, welcoming person!!

Great location on the beach! Pool with great view of ocean. Service is slow compared to North American standard. Breakfast place is great! You can easily wait for food and drinks for over half an hour at the pool or restaurants while idling at the table. Small washroom in room.

Jabil at the front desk office made us feel very welcome the minute we stpped foot onto the hotel property. Wonderful room decor, upper decks for sundown and the most amazing staff. Our waiter, Ibrahim was one of the friendliest around. The hotel is truly a Northern gem of Zanzibar. The only thing that could need improvement, is to keep private beach clear of all the little boats and beach sellers. It is advertised as a private beach, but it didn't feel too private. Sadly we got sick after our last night's pre-set dinner. For $40 I expected a lot better. And the menu needs a lot of improvement.

We spent our honeymoon in Zanzibar and we stayed in Z hotel. Hotel was really good, clean and people were kind and view from our room was amazing. Food was excellent in Cinnamon restaurant. Especially fruits and seafood were fresh and tasty. Pool was nearby the beach and was nice. The staff took into account our honeymoon in a wonderful way.

In love with this corner of Zanzibar and with this Hotel !!! The Z hotel met and exceeded our expectations, lovely location, friendly staff, good food, good cleanliness and attention to details. We spent an amazing stay and we felt pampered !!!

Very good hotel. We only stayed for around three days, but it was still amazing. They have three restaurants on top of each other with a rooftop bar at the top (ofc), where you can see the beautiful sunset and stars in the evening. Service was good overall.. only downside would be that it could take a while for the food to be finished after you ordered it. There was also a beautiful infinity pool, where you could order food directly to the sun-bed.

Fantastic location of the hotel, nice pool and really great beach just in front of the Z Hotel. But best of all - a truly exceptional group of staff! Kind, attentive, always in a good mood and just top-class 🤩🤩🤩 So from our side: Jambo-fantastic.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Also seems very secure. Gabriel and Patricia at Reception were very helpful and accommodating. The food was good to very good, but varied from Service to Service. The first night we were served a lobster Thermidor, which was incredible, but on subsequent nights the lobsters seemed to be undersized and not quite up to the advertised 550gm. staff in the restaurant, particularly Emmanuel and Abdul were absolutely outstanding and made our visit to the restaurant a joy , The downside, the wine list is very limited and even so most nights at least half the white wines on the list were not available. This happened for about five nights in a row. It appears that nobody is keeping an eye on stock levels however the wines from South Africa were reasonably priced and when available very good. The rooftop is a perfect way to watch the sunset and relax at the end of the day with a cocktail. The only reason I’m rating the Hotel four stars is that it’s not a five star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be, but it is a very good four star hotel. I’d happily stay here again
