"We stayed at this riad. We were disappointed. Clean, yes... we had the set menu once, which was very good... but the hammam wasn't working, and the jacuzzi wasn't working either, supposedly because it was too hot... Having a jacuzzi, I use it at any temperature. We were the only guests, which could perhaps justify the hammam and jacuzzi being unavailable. Yet we had paid the full price. "Travelled with my partner and our 18 year old son and stayed in a triple room. It was plenty big enough with ryanair hand baggage, it might be a bit small for three adults if you had rucksacks or big suitcases. Towels changed and room tidied daily and the bathroom and shower were great, just needed to wait a little before the hot water came through. You would have to really go looking to find fault with the facilities. I'm sure any problem you find would be sorted out by staff quickly if you raised it, they really do pride themselves on their service and their reputation is well deserved. It was a peaceful retreat from the busy Medina and I felt very safe there, enjoying a bit of sunbathing on the rooftop in the afternoons. I had a lovely massage in the spa arranged by the staff, booking was easy and times flexible. The staff do recommend their spa and hammam facilities and day trips but it's fine if you don't take them, we organised a trip separately. Roberto the cockatiel entertained us with some Bob Marley and was well loved. The breakfast was amazing, fruit, orange juice, pancakes, omelette and coffee. Salt and pepper were available and so was hot milk. Mint tea was also offered. We had dinner (half board) too which was traditional Moroccan food and very nice, I enjoyed all the food. It is "get what you're given" so if you want a choice maybe don't choose this option. It's more like staying in a home than a hotel in this way, if you want a restaurant there are plenty in the Medina to choose from. I liked the feeling of safety and being looked after on the rooftop which having an evening meal provided. You do have to ring the doorbell at the door to get in but it's no big deal. We also didn't have a lock on our door but this was fine, the staff were keen to make you feel at home and the other guests were respectful. The staff were great at explaining how not to get scammed and gave recommendations on where to go. Special thanks to Ismael (who I called Hamza the whole time, sorry!) who was really genuine, lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back one day I hope."

Unfortunately, although we were never informed in advance about any photography restrictions, we were approached in a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming manner while taking a few casual photos. The issue was never the rule itself — we would have immediately respected any policy if it had been explained kindly. What disappointed us most was the attitude of the staff member handling the situation. The approach was unnecessarily harsh, cold, and far from the level of empathy and hospitality expected from such a prestigious hotel. Instead of feeling welcomed, we left feeling embarrassed and humiliated. We would still like to sincerely thank Omar for his kindness, professionalism, and respectful attitude afterward. His approach was the only thing that softened this disappointing experience for us."

"The Riad is basic but offers everything you need to visit Marrakesh. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily, the breakfast yet basic was a delicious start to the day. The staff are truly lovely, Yusuf and Osman couldn’t be more helpful. The Riad is a good 20 mins walk to the main square, the walk is filled with the real Marrakesh and its people. "I can’t say enough about how amazing our stay at this riad was. I had planned a surprise birthday celebration for my girlfriend, and thanks to the help of the incredible host, it turned into an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment I told him about my idea, he took care of everything—with so much heart and attention to detail. The big surprise was a full day in the Agafay Desert, starting with a sunrise hot air balloon ride. I’ll never forget the look on her face as we floated silently over the desert with the first light of day painting the landscape in gold—it was absolutely magical. After the balloon ride, the day continued with a perfectly organized desert adventure: camel rides, a beautiful lunch in a Berber tent, stunning views, and quiet moments . Every detail was perfectly thought out. The host coordinated it all so smoothly, and made us feel completely taken care of. When we got back to the riad, we walked in to find the rooftop beautifully decorated, traditional music playing, and a surprise birthday cake waiting for her. She was blown away—and honestly, so was I. It felt like something out of a movie. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was a full, personalized experience that created a memory we’ll treasure forever. I’ll always be grateful to the host for helping me pull off such a perfect surprise. If you’re thinking of staying here—don’t hesitate. It’s more than a riad—it’s magic."

I tried using the jacuzzi but after 3 minutes: I realised the water is very with insects and flies in it :( Location is good as its about 150m from the first intersection leading you to the Souk and Town Square. Staff was friendly and I had the Director, Rida, personally waiting for me at a designated area to walk me in to the Riad"
