The Ship Rooms

Good location closer to Lambeth North tube than Kennington. Friendly staff. Room was very clean. Was worried it might be noisy as above the entrance but it was very quiet… stayed a Fri & Sat. Ample supplies of tea, coffee & there was a sweetie jar, extra milk/ water from the fridge upstairs. The bed was very comfortable, plenty towels provided. The only comments are very dark décor & generally needs a bit of TLC,- one of the bedside shelves was in need of repair, the shower had a leak & the was hardly any water pressure in the bathroom sink. Would be useful to provide information on close cafes as no breakfast provided.

I was a bit apprehensive as the price was amazing for London but I can safely say it was perfect, great location, great clean room with en-suite (towels provided), tea & coffee facilities and a shared fridge outside the room. Would definitely book again.

You will be lucky to find somewhere this close to the centre at this price that isn’t infested with bed bugs. Room was lovely and comfy, staff I. The pub were great (the lad from the Channel Islands was proper friendly) great beer in the bar and the Pizzas were great.

I stayed here for one night. My room was a little scruffy in places (mainly the carpet) but large and attractive with some nice period features. The bathroom looked like it had been renovated recently, and was a good size with a proper bath. For me the least appealing thing about staying here was the noise. It wasn’t terrible, but I could hear customers having a drink outside as well as doors slamming within the building. In particular the door to my room (room 1) sort of rattled in the frame when people opened other doors in the corridor. This was a bit unsettling as it sounded like someone was trying to come into my room (they weren’t actually)

Wir fanden die Zimmer aussergewöhnlich und speziell. Die Zimmer sind zentral gelegen in der Nähe der Tube Lambeth North (10 min Fussweg oder alternativ 2 Min mit dem Bus 59 oder 159 ab Waterloo Tube respektive National Rail). Besonders zu erwähnen: Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer und ein Kühlschrank mit Wasser und Milch (sogar Pflanzenmilch) auf der Etage. Trotz Lage in der Innenstadt Nachts ruhig. Einziger Abzug (daher nur vier anstelle fünf Punkten): nicht ganz korrekt funktionierende Klospülung.

O quarto é otimo,limpo e eles deixam disponivel em uma geladeira no corredor agua gelada e leite de cortesia. no quarto tem cafeteira de capsulas e balas. achei super carinhoso esses mimos que eles oferecem. cama grande e otima. não fica na area das principais atrações mas fica super perto do metro e fizemos muita coisa a pé tambem.
