Absolutely loved the Old Street area Very close to the station & nice neighbourhood like Shoreditch Hotel was clean and the bed was actually very very comfortable However, the room we booked was very small so once we had our luggages opened on the floor, literally had to tiptoe from the bed to the bathroom Would have been great if the room size was slightly bigger but overall enjoyed our stay!

I paid for 2 nights but could not use the service. For some strange reason the wrong date was booked and I could not stay in the hotel. I did not get any refund - 0! The hotel took all my money and left the room empty. This is a bad service! They lost my trust – never again.

The location of this hotel is good, it is close to Old Street tube station, and a couple of tube stops away from Kings Cross/ Euston. Unfortunately however I did not enjoy my stay here. When I walked into my room, it was absolutely boiling (the last thing you want when carrying suitcases off a sweaty tube). I was pleased to see there was air con however that was short lived when I discovered it was just circulating warm air back at me. This really ruined my stay because multiple times in the night I woke up feeling hot. The room beside me was also watching tv until about midnight, and the walls were like paper, so despite trying to go to sleep at 10, I couldn't until they turned their tv off 2 hours later. I was on a solo visit so the room size was ok for me, however if there are 2 of you, it is far too small, and the bathroom's frosted glass would not offer much privacy. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again! To sum up: Pros: nice staff, good location, they have luggage storage, good size tv in room Cons: hot room, very small rooms, walls are very thin so you can hear everything next door, view of offices so felt like I couldn't have my blinds open, bathroom does not offer any privacy
