Privacy, natural & awesome ambience

The Datai is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The stunning location, elegant rooms, and exceptional service made it unforgettable. I proposed to my fiancée here, making it even more special. I can’t wait to return to relive the magic.

Great experience in Datai Langkawi. The best resort hotel in Langkawi or in Malaysia i would say. Nice atmosphere if you like to be in a quiet and serene place. Great food and great hospitality. A special shoutout to Hafizam for the guest attending service and Gaurav from the The Dining. Also to the Botanists Ms Ezy. Will come back for sure!

This is the best hotel I ever been. The moment on arrival until leaving, hotel staff always give their best service. They also provide anniversary decorations & cake in my villa. The beach is clean & it is private.

The Datai Langkawi is luxury at its finest. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Had a special event planned and the organizer did an excellent job in fulfilling all my requirements. The botanist and naturalist there are also knowledgeable and experienced. The place is a conservative paradise. Highly recommend.

It was absolutely rejuvenating! Staffs was so friendly with warm hospitality.Lastly, all of their foods was delectable especially all of the menus from The Gulai House!Definitely a repeat staycation!So refreshing!I love The Datai!

Excellent resort, probably the best we have stayed. Beach in the front and rainforest at the back. Lost of free activities and excellent food at the hotel. Slightly far from the other Langkawi attractions.

The Datai is ranked the best resort in Langkawi, but personally we still prefer Four Season over the Datai, in terms of the beach, the facilities and the room.

I have nothing but good words about this resort. Excellent in every aspect.

Hard to get a GrabCar to pick up from Datai but the resort offers their transport (with additional charges) and it’s quite steep. I didn’t really enjoy my stay here especially when the bar has no music.

Truly an amazing experience at The Datai Hotel. This place is just a piece of heaven on the beautiful island of Langkawi. Such a stunning interior design, greenery scenery, genuinely kind and wonderful staff members, I sincerely want to thank the whole staff at The Datai for such an excellent and unforgettable experience!
