Ulasan Yourlan Hotel

Pros: One of the most stunning views from a hotel ever. Doodoo the dog is the sweetest and felt like a home stay, super quiet and calm! Comfy beds with electric blanket and clean room. Cons: The shared toilets,sink shower are outside, which is not ideal in cold November. First day the woman working was so helpful and accommodating, helped me wash clothes, made food and answered questions. The second day was a different woman, who would not use a translation app to answer questions which made things difficult. Would not make a hot drink in the cafe for me and wouldn’t explain why and wasn’t much help on transport questions because she wouldn’t translate her answers. Unfortunately it stands out because 99% of people in china help you! I went to a different cafe down the road where people were immediately so helpful.

(Forigners) Our stay was niceoverall. The locations is good although not really in the middle of the village where all the restaurants are. Awesome views from the room and from the balcony (photos attached). Nice home owner.

This is my second time staying here. First with family and this time, alone. Rooms are very clean, has great big bathroom with hot water. They have heated blankets and an electric heater to keep you warm. Lady who runs the place is also nice. She is very chilled. The dog Dou Dou is also very cool. And the best part about this hotel is the sunrise you get to see right from your room.

Very nice hostel in a quiet part of the village. There is a lovely terrace with amazing view to both of the valley. The rooms are small but clean and good. There are breakfast and other food options. You can rent hiking sticks for free which is recommended fro the ice lake hike to save your knees.

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

We have stayed in 3 different hotels in Yubeng. This one was definitely the nicest of them all. Great location, good views and very clean. Cutest dog greeting you when you come back. The location is perfect if you want to do the ice lake hike. Great price and very nice lady. Definitely would recommend staying here!

The guesthouse was located in Upper Yubeng, very convenient to start our Sacred Waterfall hike. The lady manager was very nice and the breakfast menu at the cafe was simple but delicious. It was such a joy to be greeted by Duo Duo (the very sweet and friendly dog) every day after getting back from our hikes. Rooms were clean and neat! No complaints :)

Triple room was a bit damp and the floor was dodgy, owner and dog very friendly, breakfast very good.

Quaint and cosy hotel in upper Yubeng with a beautiful flower garden and good views of the Meili snow mountain. There are 2 cute cats and one very friendly dog. Owner was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Room is simple but comfortable. Hotel can be hard to find as not all roads are shown on the map and we had to ask around for direction.

Beautiful hotel, with a view on the mountains. Keep in mind that the toilet is outside so during the winter it might be a bit cold.

What a view from the communal area, fire place and mountains. The hosts however really let this place down, no consideration for their guests relaxation, playing with there phone all the time loudly, games, videos, phone calls, it was relentless and meant we could not relax and enjoy the nature. Beds were thin and toilet roof leaked. Would not return

Great place, views and breakfast is good and the room was very comfortable

This place was great to stay in. We went over christmas holiday in december and it was quiet, not toi many tourists. The sights from the hotel were amazing and breakfast was good in the morning. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay here again.

Good location, and quiet as it's not right in town but walking distance. The view is breathtaking. Staff was friendly and helpful. For the price you pay in Yubeng the rooms could be nicer. However, that's seasonal and it is a special place with limited resources.
