Hotel dekat Stadion Villa Park, Birmingham

We arrived very early and were greeted by a lovely receptionist, she was able to give us immediate access to our room. A lovely modern room, with two double beds and all amenities. Although, we went out for dinner, we did have breakfast. The food was good with lots of options and we had lovely service from a Hungarian waitress, sadly I didn’t get her name. We had a late checkout, just in time to get our train home. The hotel is convenient for all downtown shopping and other amenities, a very short walk from The Mailbox, lots of restaurants and shops, also the Bullring and Grand Central station. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

A very classy room I actually turned up slightly earlier than expected as my train was early to Birmingham. So I press to tell if I could check in early at around midday and they were more than happy to check me in however I decided to drop off my luggage and attend a meeting. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and I had my usual additional request of having a room facing the canal. Unfortunately I was given a room on the opposite side to what I requested however went back down to the reception and the staff was so helpful in getting that sorted are they actually gave me the right room?

Room was spacious. Views were amazing. Staff were very helpful as I had a massive bouquet of flowers. 1 lady at Reception helped loads unfortunately we didn't get her name. Thank you.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

The staff was great, The room size is ok but the bathroom is not good because when you showered the water will splash out and almost flow out from the bathroom. Air conditioning is not working during my staying and it’s summer!🥵

Comfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel. The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower. Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price

appalling pressure emails to check in on line - which I ignored- cheerful efficient receptionist booked me in despite emails received a day or so before indicating that not checking in on line might cause difficulties. still only one lift working (seems a long term problem). allocated room on 5 th floor - corridors well carpeted, clean, and rather posh! room clearly upgraded and very nice with posh bathroom, huge tv which was easy to negotiate, kettle & lots of t, coffee & milk - appreciated. efficient heating, comfortable bed but only one pillow & no spare. took 7 minutes to reach reception in the morning as only one (very slow) lift. fabulous vfm, but they need to get lift sorted permanently & stop threatening that not checking in on line could cause difficulties! - actually recommended!
