A very classy room I actually turned up slightly earlier than expected as my train was early to Birmingham. So I press to tell if I could check in early at around midday and they were more than happy to check me in however I decided to drop off my luggage and attend a meeting. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and I had my usual additional request of having a room facing the canal. Unfortunately I was given a room on the opposite side to what I requested however went back down to the reception and the staff was so helpful in getting that sorted are they actually gave me the right room?

An amazing stay as always the staff here always go above and beyond for you needed slightly larger room due to my partner on crutches and they even put us in a room we was in before! Such clean facilities me and my partner felt really comfortable safe and happy here will stay again! Comfy pillows, bed, lovely bathroom shower and bath, toiletries on wall are very nice smelling, we will be back on Thursday to stay! :)

This hotal was lovely we had to do a late check in after 9 clock as we got hear late but the staff service was fantastic very helpful and very polite would definitely stay hear again breakfast was a buffet breakfast help your self the only thing they didt have was fried eggs but they had scrambled egg thy had tea coffee hot chocolate machine and also help your self to apple juice orange juice lots of staff around clear area were people had been ready for other people to sit as have breakfast area was nice clear room was clear and tidy nice shower and toilet room beds comfortable had a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed .

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

The staff was great, The room size is ok but the bathroom is not good because when you showered the water will splash out and almost flow out from the bathroom. Air conditioning is not working during my staying and it’s summer!🥵

appalling pressure emails to check in on line - which I ignored- cheerful efficient receptionist booked me in despite emails received a day or so before indicating that not checking in on line might cause difficulties. still only one lift working (seems a long term problem). allocated room on 5 th floor - corridors well carpeted, clean, and rather posh! room clearly upgraded and very nice with posh bathroom, huge tv which was easy to negotiate, kettle & lots of t, coffee & milk - appreciated. efficient heating, comfortable bed but only one pillow & no spare. took 7 minutes to reach reception in the morning as only one (very slow) lift. fabulous vfm, but they need to get lift sorted permanently & stop threatening that not checking in on line could cause difficulties! - actually recommended!
