The complex is very big, however with spacious reception, restaurant space and complex outside it does not get crowded. Very good surrounding area, including beach area. The service provided by staff is also excellent, and for us as foreigners it was nice lot of staff in the hotel spoke English.

The Banyan Tree Resort Sanya in my personal opinion one of the best holiday resorts I have ever experienced It was absolutely perfect, the resort environment was amazing and the attention to detail was beyond 5 stars. The staff at the hotel were all able to speak in english to me and made my visit very convenient. The front office manager Iris was not only extremely friendly but also absolutely amazing in accommodating everything I asked for in a very prompt and professional manner. The private beach at the resort was amazing with very calm and clean waters making relaxing at this resort devine, the facilities at this resort are immaculate , everything from the restaurant, corridors to perfectly stocked souvenir shop was amazing. The resort is located a 10 minute taxi to the local town we enjoyed water activities such as surfing and diving we participated in and a selection of restaurants for all pallets however the restaurant at the hotel was delicious with a range of western and Chinese food. We choose the wagu burger and pizza and the food tasted exactly as we get back home. I Fully recommend the Banyan Tree Resort Sanya to any westerners looking for a premium resort in Chinas paradise island.

Absolutely astonishing view, great place, hope to visit it again! A little bit hard to move around, but thanks to the fellas who drove us around every time!

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Resort Sanya Bay for 3 nights and left with very mixed feelings. For the price we paid, we expected a higher level of service. Starting with check-in, we had to wait around 15 minutes in line before being helped. The hotel itself is very large, with a beautiful pool area and spacious rooms. There are plenty of activities for kids, which is definitely a highlight for families. However, cleanliness was questionable. There was noticeable dust on the nightstands that never seemed to be removed during our stay. After cleaning, our bed was not even made. The housekeeping staff also entered the room too quickly, after a single knock, they would already open the door, which felt intrusive. Since bad weather kept us inside for part of our stay, we discovered the in-room TV was very outdated, without USB support or screen mirroring, making it impossible to connect our own devices. The biggest disappointment, though, was the buffet for breakfast and dinner. The variety was limited, and almost everything was Chinese cuisine (which should not be a problem) but 15 yuan chaofan from a shushu tastes ten times better than the one from the 238¥ buffet. We were surprised not to find any Western staples, and the menu hardly changed from day to day. Overall, the resort is beautiful and has great potential. It’s a good place for families, thanks to its facilities and kid-friendly activities. However, with some improvements in service, cleanliness, and dining variety, it could truly meet the standard expected of a Crowne Plaza.

The hotel itself is not bad, but as we were there on a family vaccination (with kids), I can say that the hotel rooms aren't clean enough, especially the bathrooms. We stayed there for 9 nights but they didn't change our bedding even once, even though I'd exclusively request since we had kids. The kids room, headboard and table were in really bad condition, all peeled up and stained. The hotel doesn't really offer much except the pools (no rides or fun activities,had to go to other resorts). Oh, and there is a travel photography they offer, they say 5 free photos and pay the extra photos, well when it comes to the extra photos they will rip you off (pay thousands for photos).

A major downside was that even at 9:30 in the morning, towels were not prepared at the pool, and we had to wait quite a long time for them. Also, be aware that the beach does not have sufficient capacity of sunbeds or towels, so it’s better to bring one from the hotel. It would be nice if the staff, both at the pool and in the restaurant, had a more polished and consistent grooming standard. Some of the uniforms looked worn out, with faded T-shirts. On the positive side, the hotel is continuously maintained, which is a plus. It is a nice hotel with good kids’ activities, although it is worth mentioning that it is starting to show some signs of wear. Another advantage is the variety of shopping and dining options around the hotel. A trip to Yalong Tropical Paradise Forest Park is just a few minutes away and definitely worth visiting. For English-speaking guests, Sophie was a great help. She checked in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was fine, and she was very kind and helpful. However, the rest of the staff mostly speak only Russian and Chinese. This is also reflected in the breakfast area, where many of the dishes are labeled only in Russian and Chinese. An English translation would be highly appreciated.

Hotel feels very old fashioned style and service attitude wasn’t so nice. At 3 room wasn’t ready and no one even apologised and even didn’t offer us water. We got the room only at 4:00 and it was very disappointing just opposite the elevator, despite the fact that we asked room away from elevator in advance. They tried to change us another room but also opposite the elevator. Finally manager helped us to solve this issue and offered us better room in better condition and with beautiful view. Hotel area and swimming pool is good and pleasant, but for this money you can get much better conditions in new modern hotel.

The staff are really nice and they try to help you and always smiling to you, the swimming pool are good but the kids one is little bit small, the breakfast is good and they have a lot of children activities, the we had is good but little bit old and needs to be clean specially the carpets , the massage chair was poor and not working will , the beach is clean, and it will be bitter if they do clear sign 🪧 for the direction of the beach specially for kids wheelchair

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. The food was tasty with lots of options, and the hotel itself felt very comfortable and welcoming. I want to give a special thanks to the room attendant, Xi Qiang. He was so kind and attentive, always keeping my room clean and cozy. His friendly service truly made me feel at home. Overall, this hotel has everything you need – great location, good food, a nice atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I would be happy to come back again and highly recommend it to others.

Taman hotel, kolam renang, pantai, dan perangkat keras lainnya semuanya bagus, dan tepi laut di luar taman sangat nyaman dengan sedikit orang. Yang down adalah layanan perangkat lunaknya. Ini juga merupakan masalah lama hotel seri Wanda. Yang benar-benar tidak bisa ditolerir adalah kenapa kamu membuat wanginya begitu menyengat di dalam ruangan, membuatku jadi bau. Ketika saya menelepon layanan pelanggan, mereka pada dasarnya memberi saya jawaban asal-asalan dan tidak pernah datang untuk menyelesaikan masalah.
