Hotel dekat Istana Mirabell, Salzburg

We had a wonderful experience in this B&B. The room was clean, which echoed with all the reviews here. You could experience the passion and perseverance of the owners in keeping everything not only neat and tidy, but amazingly dustless and spotless! If you look at the mirror, and the tissue box in the toilet, the level of shine and reflection is at its top! The bed was big and comfortable. The design of the room was modern. Tea and coffee are available inside the room. Breakfast comprised of a wide variety of fresh fruits chopped into small cubes and delicately put into little cocktail glasses, all sorts of bread, yoghurt, ham, spreads. Alex would welcome all customers warmly with offerings of coffee, tea and eggs that were made by him. I saw on reviews that he made perfect eggs and it was really true! The fried eggs that I ordered were prepared with crispy edges, what a morning delight! All the details and passion ( and the amount of time and dedication one can imagine) that this family put into this B&B deserve a 5-star rating. From its hardware to attitude, this is the best I have ever experienced as a tourist.

Hotel ini cukup jauh dari pusat kota, yang membuat perjalanan ke sana kemari agak sulit. Namun, stafnya benar-benar luar biasa—ramah, penuh perhatian, dan selalu siap membantu. Sangat sulit untuk menghubungi hotel, mungkin karena saya tidak menggunakan nomor telepon lokal. Menghubungi Trip dan mereka sendiri tidak dapat menghubungi mereka tepat waktu. The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay. Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive. The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice. One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is? Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects. Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening. First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this. I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing. The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details. The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here. Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100. (To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf) In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating. This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction. Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel. This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement.
